This weed puller works well. I chose it among the others because it had the ejection feature, and because it appeared to have a single, long handle, while many others appeared to have several sections making up the handle. Unfortunately the handle is is several pieces, and screws together. The hardware holding it together and the design includes both metal screws internally, and a metal sleeve on the outside, so it's surprisingly strong, however it does unscrew very easily and I find while I'm working with it that I have to tighten the handle frequently. I'm really disappointed in this so want to highlight it for others - this is not a single piece handle, despite the photos. Further, it doesn't use any standard handle threading so if you do want to replace it you'll be making a custom piece. Beyond that, it works well. The foot piece allows you to push the head into the ground around the base of the plant, then acts as a lever and applies pressure to the root as you pull it out. The ejector works well to clear between the pairs of prongs, but doesn't clear the prongs on each side - but it clear it well enough to use on the next weed. Most of my use is centered around prickly plants, and this does a good job of getting the root out at least 4 inches below ground, which seems to be enough to prevent regrowth for the smaller plants. It's easily used on flat ground, and in low grown cover areas, but become harder with taller areas like an irs patch. Better than pulling by hand, though, so still useful. The metal parts are strong, and while I can't tell if they're forged or cast, it's obvious they aren't machined. I expect them to last a long time. The ejector on the handle is plastic, and I'm not sure it's going to last as long as the rest of the puller - and there doesn't seem to be any replacement parts available. I suppose at this low price they will simply advise replacing the entire tool. Altogether I'm happy with this, with the only major issue being the multi-part handle. I'll epoxy the connections to see if that resolves my issues with it unscrewing itself during use and makes it more like a single piece handle. Beyond that, it's a great tool.

This tool is amazing. It pulls weeds up and the entire root. The size is great so you don’t have to bend over and tire your back out while doing yard work. The spring loaded release is easy to release the weeds into a yard waste container. I was able to get unwanted plants and dandelions out of my landscaping with ease and little effort.

If this worked as advertised it would be great. It does not live up to the hype. Maybe it would be ok on the perfect small dandelion on the perfect lawn, but my weeds must not fit into the category. The tines are too short to pull the whole tap root and the ejector fails to work as any damp dirt clogs it. It does loosen the dirt around the weed so hand digging is a little easier. I tried to really like this and am considering returning it. I'll try again later because hand digging wore me out today.

This weeder is very sturdy. It's a little awkward for me because I'm short. I could use a shorter version, but I can still use it relatively easy. It took care of a patch of thistle and their long roots.
