I love the feel of the paper even though the paper is not the highest gsm. I am okay with the ghosting and some bled through of some pens/markers. The hardcover journal feels good in my hand and I plan on getting more. The issues that I have is that for being a Prime member, the shipment takes much too long so I will buy my next journal from a different retailer who ships faster even if I have to pay a few dollars more.     • Versatile notebook, Great for anything you'd need it for!
I purchased this notebook because I wanted to start bullet journaling. The Leuchtturm 1917 seems to be the most popular notebook for the bullet journal method, but I actually wanted a notebook that DIDN'T have pre-numbered pages or an index page already in there. I'm loving this one so far! I've had moleskines in the past so I'm not worried about the durability. I love that it is dotted because it allows much more freedom for the user to do whatever they want with it, as opposed to the grid and ruled types that are very structured and rigid (and frankly, an eyesore to look at). Something to keep an eye out for is ink bleeding or being visible through the pages, so if you're worried about any fountain pens or markers you like to use, you can set aside a page just for testing those out. I only wish that this notebook was more readily available; it doesn't seem to be available in stores anywhere (I've only seen the soft cover dotted ones available in store, not the hard cover). From what I've seen, the dotted hard cover also only seems to be available in black and not any other colors (though the soft cover dotted ones come in a variety of colors). I'm really hoping that they become more easily available because I don't plan on buying any other kind of notebook for my bullet journaling! ... show more

I wanted to jump on the bullet journal bandwagon. I've used moleskin notebooks in the past and am smitten with them. I enjoy the pocket in the back and the band that keeps it securely closed. I will say heavy markers will bleed through the pages. I tend to use light pens and I don't have many issues. It's a great size to fit in my bag and I love it. I will definitely be getting another one when I'm ready for a new notebook! ... show more

Moleskin is well known as one of the best notebooks you can get, and this lives up to that reputation. The best things I love about it is the portable, discreet size and the dots. If only they made a spiral bound version of this, then that might be the greatest notebook of all times!! S!!

This is my second moleskin! I didn't expect this one to bleed through however, so I was really surprised when it happened. I was using a pilot g2-07 (black gel ink rollerball) to write. My previous one didn't bleed as much (I didn't buy that one on amazon if it matters), and if I knew about this one bleeding through I would've tried another brand/branch out instead. Update (January 6th, 2019): It does bleed through, but once you write on both sides it doesn’t look as bad as it would be with only one page written. ... show more

I use this as my bullet journal. It's absolutely awesome and is essentially my life. Great paper, great binding. Has a pocket to hold loose papers/business cards/etc. The cover is strong, comes with a well secured bookmark ribbon and elastic band for keeping the book shut when not in use.
