I am writing this review after 5 month of use. Dryer is of decent quality. No issues so far except for squeaking sound when it runs. Obviously, it isnot a full sized dryer so I never expected it to dry completely. My recommendation is to add some lint filters supply as it needs to be changed often.

    • Not sure if I got a defective unit
As the title says, I am not entirely sure that I got a defective unit, so I'm not impressed with this dryer thus far. I really love my Panda washer so I figured their dryers were just as good, especially with all the positive reviews on other models. My dryer was shipped very quickly via UPS without incident or visible damage. Setup was quick and easy -- only a couple screws to attach the included gray exhaust pipe to the back. I put my dryer on an appliance dolly so I could easily roll it from where I store it to the window in my living room to (sort of) vent it out a window. My Panda portable washing machine can wash about 5 lbs of clothes/towels, so I bought this dryer as it was 2x larger capacity than my washer. I have dried about four loads of laundry with this dryer in the ~2 weeks I've had it with it loaded less than 1/4 of the way full. CONS: - Each time I go to run the dryer, I have to press the play button MULTIPLE times before the unit starts up. - I have tried several dry cycles such as, "150 minutes," "Smart," and "30 minutes" on small loads, and each time it stops for several seconds like it's overheating. I have tried unplugging it, cleaned the lint trap, and let it cool down for up to an hour, and it still randomly stops. - I am also annoyed that a standard 4" dryer vent hose will not fit over the pipe that attaches to the back. I have to go back to the hardware store and HOPE they carry a dryer vent hose that is a little larger than 4" in diameter so I have the option to vent this outside during hellish Nebraska summers. - The instructions say to clean the lint trap, which is easy to pull off the back and put back on. However they also say to clean the air intake, but after a lot of pulling and prying, the damn thing will not come off. I am afraid to use a tool to pry it off or the plastic will break. PROS: - It's fairly quiet. My apartment is about 600 sq/ft and I can run it in my living room and barely hear it from my bedroom with the door open. - It dries clothes! It's so nice to not deal with stairs or the laundry room any more. In a couple test loads, it dried about 4 bath towels + 4 kitchen towels in less than an hour. It also dried a small load of camisoles + a hoodie + a couple pairs of jeans in less than an hour. Glad I got the extended warranty though so if it stops working past it's manufacturer warranty, I'm covered. Will update if anything changes. ... show more

I love it I really do. The only issue I’m having is the plastic lint filter in the back broke last month and I can’t seem to find out how to replace it after looking for a new one for 30 days.

I had the dryer for a few days only but it's working fine so far. I bought it because I don't have a hook up for a regular dryer, only a regular outlet to plug normal items, so this dryer was a good find for me as it can be plugged anywhere. It fits a medium load of clothes from my regular washer which is pretty big. It doesn't make much noise and is easy to use and install. It has a bunch of drying options. Personally, I like to use the smart program which turns off whenever the clothes are dry, it makes things simple. You can dry by time or kind of clothes. You just can't dry stuff like shoes if you want your product to last. It arrived quickly after I ordered. I am only giving it 4 stars because this purchase was kind of a gamble and there are a few aspects of the dryer that could be improved. First, there was no warranty available to buy with the product, no reviews either, or anything really helpful to find out how well the product works. One of the screws in the back is missing its head. While this doesn't affect the way the dryer works, if for any reason I have to remove this screw, it's going to be a piece of work. I am not a huge fan of the lint filter also. It's easy to remove and clean the plastic parts but the third layer in the back gets pretty dirty too and the lint is hard to remove from it. The second ring of the lint filter doesn't feel very strong, as if they glued a very very thin lint catcher and if you are not extra careful your finger might go through it when you remove the lint... Overall it's a nice dryer, bigger than I thought and easy to use. I am just waiting to see how long it will last without issues and what my next electric bill looks like using it regularly... ... show more
