Have two of these at different locations. Dependable, cuts well, and keeps all those ear and nose hairs in check with little effort. Docs say to not pull nose hairs as you can get an infection and anything in the sinus area is dangerous as it is a short distance to your brain (really!). Trimmer works just fine. Really easy to clean and straight forward to use but built quality is really questionable. Feels really cheap plastic and one might think that some parts can be broken easily, trimmer is really light though. This makes the trimmer really easy to handle. "Cleaning system" is functional but I think it might be a bit problematic is you have lot of hair because some small hair sticks into the inner compartment but nothing that running water and bit of patience can solve. So far In my weekly use, nothing has been broken (two months of seldom use). I will update the review if I encounter any issue. ... show more

I last bought this around 2017 and I'm still using the same model. For the cost it's been lasting quite long and it's still been working well for me. Given how much I liked it, I purchased 2 more; one for my mom and one for my dad. Never going back to those mini scissors!

Prior to this purchase, I had a reciprocating blade style trimmer from Philips, which turned out to be pretty mediocre at trimming nose hairs. This trimmer is way more effective, gets into the "nooks," doesn't leave nicks, and also doesn't leave irritating pointy stubble. It is a very cheaply made device, but that doesn't seem to make it any less effective. When you first pick up the box, you think, "Man, this thing has some weight to it. It must be well-made!" When you open the box, though, a thick instruction manual is actually the bulk of the weight, which is pretty funny. The device itself is a thin plastic battery holder with a tiny motor and cutting head. But hey, it works great. ... show more

I bought this to replace my Norelco groomer. Wish I had bought the newer version of the Norelco. This didn't last 6 months. It's now dead and will end up in my next e-waste recycling run. Save your $$ on this product and look at something else.

I have had good luck with Panasonic products. This trimmer works great at trimming hair in my nose, ears, and touching up various areas on my face. I sometimes get a weird eyebrow hair in-between my eyebrows and will zap it with this. It is super easy to clean- just turn the dial to the faucet icon and rinse under a faucet. It uses a single AA battery. I use rechargables and they last a few months (I only use the trimmer once a week). Highly recommend. Bought one for my father-in-law. Edit: May 18, 2024. I'm afraid I have to downgrade my rating of this product. I've owned 4 of these. In order, they've lasted 15 months, 7 years, 26 months, and 10 months. With the decline in lifespan, I am going to try a different brand. I still generally love Panasonic products, but a 10 month lifespan is too short, even in our disposable society (USA). ... show more
