I've needed a replacement desk for years but been dismayed by the quality issues rampant in so many less expensive desks, Finally decided to give the 55" Pamray model a try and I'm very pleasantly surprised. The frame is relatively well designed without being overbuilt, bulky, or heavy, and the surface of the desk itself is adequate. The stained wood finish looks and feels nice though of course only time will tell how it ages with the kind of use I subject my computer and project desks to. It's got no flex to it and feels sturdy enough you could always just buy a nice mat you can lay down to protect wear areas, which isn't a bad idea for a desk at any price range. The built in power plugs and usb chargers are a nice plus I'm sure to get use out of. The basket, hooks, and the underdesk shelf are a nice addition for those who need those features, they are well enough built but just as nice is the fact you don't have to use them if they interfere with your placement or use of the desk, letting you set it up how you want it. The detail of having the necessary hardware come in a rather nice tin along with a proper handled hex driver was a really nice touch and I'll be retaining that little tin for if I ever need to disassemble the desk again to move with. For the price especially, I'd consider this desk a cut above and being able to nab it for a bit less than usual price during a lightning sale only sweetened it for me. The only problem of sorts I've had with this desk is that the proximity of the metal frame to the edge of the back of the desk surface may make it a bit more difficult to mount VESA arms that employ clamps, I end up needed to add a second bar of material along the frame rail to beef up the underside of the surface so the clamp doesn't just grip the narrow frame member in a less stable fashion. If you intend to VESA mount a monitor, just keep in mind the frame may interfere with a clamp so have alternatives or be willing to work around the issue basically. Barring any kind of strange wear or massive failures I anticipate enjoying use of this desk for some time.

Not one to remark to myself repetitively how impressed I was with an item while putting it together. The first impression was the packaging, very well done. Second was the metal tool / screw box. In almost every situation, there may be a cardboard / plastic configuration with bolts, tools, etc. but in this, it was a metal box with foam packaging to hold each item. This in itself was a cause for a 'how cool' moment. The tools / bolts provided where top notch and all items lined up and worked easily. The instructions were clear and left nothing to the imagination. I removed the screwed in feet and put felt on each leg as where it was going, as silly as this sounds, I needed the 1/4 inch height reduction by removing the screw in feet and the felt pads seemed to fit better to the flat square bottoms of the legs. The built in power / usb strip is wonderful. My son's Playstation and monitor used the two AC plugs and his Playstation fan cooler and sound bar used the two powered USB connections. The metal mesh storage on the side was perfect for his games / like DVD cases, and the opposite side hooks are perfect for a headset, etc. As noted earlier, not one to leave reviews typically but this had several 'how cool', I'm impressed moments it felt it warranted the review. This is a very nice desk. Iv been on the hunt for a durable "nice" looking desk and I think I found it!! I built it together. Was a but tricky at first but I managed! The nice touch was the outlet attached on the top, and the wood look. Thank you <3

Desk just arrived. It was super easy to build, and all the screws and screwdriver came in a neat little box. Good height, good size, and the built in plugs are awesome. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it arrived with some damage (pictured).
