I've purchase SO MANY different skin care products over the years. As I've gotten older my skin has changed from oily to combo to now dry. I've always used an oil cleanser as my 1st step cleanser (I double cleanse) because of it's ability to breakdown makeup so well. I have used VERY high end products to drugstore and everything in between. I love this particular oil cleanser so much because it actually turns into a cleansing milk. It's wonderful and gentle enough that my 11 year old also uses it without issue (she has EXTREMELY sensitive skin). Palmers is a great brand and this has quickly become a staple in my household. Skin is cleaned yet hydrated, not oily or greasy and not overly dry. Follow the directions. It kinda foams and rinses clean. It has a delicious, light, floral scent. Strong enough for makeup removal. Gentle enough to use around the eye area. I love it for removing makeup or when I want a light wash.

I decided to add a facial oil to my skincare routine, and this is one of the face oils that stood out to me. I can say for certain it was worth the purchase! First of all, it does a fantastic job of removing makeup that is stubborn and resistant to other makeup removal or facial cleansers. I have been using this as my first step in cleansing my face, applying the oil and then adding water to emulsify the cleanser into my skin. Then, I use a facial cleanser to remove the oil, before proceeding to my acne-treatment cleansers. This does a flawless job of removing makeup that I found was staying on my face before introducing this into my routine. On another positive note, the scent of this facial oil is just so good! I liked it! It’s really smooth and removes makeup really well. However, it’s too oily, even though I washed my face really well I felt my face quite oily. I needed to wash it twice. I heard a lot of comments about the smell but for me it was nice, fresh and sweet. I think I’ll use it when I’m wearing a lot of makeup because it works perfect on removing!!! 4/5 ... show more

I love this oil! I have problematic skin and have tried other cleansing oils because this one stopped being sold in stores. I recently started having some persistent skin issue and couldn’t figure out why. I realized I hadnt oil-cleansed in some time so after trying out 3 different brands (including the viral DHC deep cleansing oil) to no avail, I finally gave up wasting money and repurchased this and my skin finally started healing again. Unfortunately this did not work for me. It is great for gently removing eye makeup, but it causes me to have a ton of breakouts and I normally don’t get pimples. I had to stop using it because of that. I was primarily using it to dissolve subcutaneous filaments, but after a couple weeks of use I didn’t notice a difference in them. I gave it three stars because I have naturally oily skin, and I don’t think my experience would necessarily be true for others with dry or combination skin. I think it may just not be compatible with my skin type ... show more
