I had surgery on my knee and the skin got so tight and dry it was hard to bend. This was a good lotion that softened my skin and the incision scabs and made bending me knee a little easier. It also smells wonderful, like cocoa.

I guess that the Palmers peeps take that cocoa butter ingredient rather seriously 😂. The product works great. It glides onto your skin like, well butter, absorbs super easily and moisturizers as promised. The big *however* for me is that it literally leaves me smelling like a chocolate bar.

This brand has been around for decades. It is thick but absorbs into the skin readily. It's especially good right after a shower or when you wash your hands. It leaves your skin smooth and soft. The cocoa butter aroma is strong at first but it does lessen after a while. But they do use cocoa butter so if you don't like the smell of cocoa, this will not be for you.
