I lovbe that it has a light to visualize the claw's cuticle, however it can't be seen when the clippers are positioned to clip the claw. they must be removed from the claw and held sideways to enable a visual of the cuticle. If the light were in a different position, they would be perfect! The clippers are comfortable to use and cut very easily though! I still find them more useful than not! ... show more

I am a new kitten mama and have cut their nails too short once. Terrified ever since. I am confident with these clippers. The first clippers I bought had a light but they were bulky and the blade was dull. After I clipped my kitten’s nail too short I looked for another kind that I felt I had more control with. The second one fit really well in my hand and we’re super sharp but I wasn’t confident because I wasn’t sure where the nerve was. This pair has made me more confident. Satisfying to watch the nail crumble rather than fly all over the place. LED light works like a charm to see the quick. Very useful for pets with darker nails.
