The media could not be loaded. I did a lot of research before ordering a set of speakers for an outdoor movie night for my community. I narrowed it down to alphasonik and another competitor. Alphasonik overall stars was slightly lower than the another brand and the price was maybe $40 more. I almost went with the other brand simply over a $40 difference but decided to go with Alphasonik because the appearance of alphasonik was better. Plus I like how the led lights went around the entire speaker. I took a chance even though some reviews on bass and sound was low. I received my speakers today and set it all up for a quick test. I was blown away and amazed with the sound quality. I don’t know what the low reviewers were talking about. The appearance of the speakers is exactly what I want and the led lights are not overwhelming and adds a uniqueness to the speakers while playing music. The bass sounds awesome to me and clarity of sound is great as well. The mic which comes with the system works great and the Bluetooth feature connected to my iPhone with no issues. I have been playing music on it with no problems. The remote also works as well. The price was very reasonable, especially now hearing the quality of sound. I know I made the right choice with alphasonik. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great sound system for home entertainment, outdoor movie night, party, and even a DJ starting out. Provides plenty of power. Overall, this is a really good, powerful audio system. No regrets. Tested BlueTooth music from iPhone. Reception within about 30 feet. Needs instructions for the remote, which communicates to the front of the powered speaker. Update 6/11/2019: Uncoiled the internal FM radio antenna and found that the FM radio scans up or down with either the remote or the buttons on the back. Clear sound on strong stations. 10 screws undo the case. I accidentally found that the front lights work when I plugged in a wireless mic receiver. A lot of power is needed to get the lights to light. Too loud to be near. ... show more

I am not a professional DJ by any means, but have done some events in the past. A friend asked me to dust off my equipment to do a wedding/reception,and since most was in storage,wasnt up to par and wouldnt work for the event.I found this package on amazon and figured id give it a try. It was shipped and received quickly,and wasnt all banged up. (But is shipped in a box with pics of the system on it so beware if it gets delivered to your porch and no one is around to sign for it)Out of the box everything worked great. I really like the bluetooth feature and the usb stick feature.As others have said the included remote does absolutely nothing.I used a wireless mic with this unit and worked well. Speakers light up white with the bass which was a cool touch.Only problem i had was with the speaker cable or socket, second time i plugged it in it wouldnt work ,no sound would come from the second speaker until i kept moving the plug around ,could be a loose connection inside the speaker but did eventually work. Speaker stands do the job but are a bit wobbly. If your looking for a good system for a backyard BBQ or smaller event this system will fit the bill. ... show more

Don’t let the other guys fool you, if you’re serious about your setup and want to potentially get more speakers without replacing the part, cmake sure to get something like this where you can expand your setup Speakers are Great so far, haven’t gone full power yet but they sound great at moderately loud levels, all the equipment looks and works great. Only complaint I have is the stands can tip over if the speaker is bumped, as they are a little too heavy, but its nothing that can’t be fixed. Great buy so far. I also see a lot of people tripping about a roughed up box. Mine wasn’t in perfect condition, but its nothing that isn’t normal of something that heavy (over 80lbs) in a customized box. Wear shoes up much easier on ink. Each speaker also came in its own card board box inside the main one and they were secured with styrofoam, so they were very well protected. It in no way affected my product so I don’t think that necessitates the 1 star reviews. ... show more

I purchased 2 sets of these. The first set as soon as plugged in the amp was shorted and within 5 minutes overheated and melted the microphone jack input and blew the fuse. This was with no load or sound output. The second set had a shorted microphone cord so it would not work and as for the sound output.... These are rated at 1000w and I have a set of 40w 5inch speakers on my deck that go just as loud. The base and treble was horrible and you could not distinguish the mids (vocals). So after returning these I purchased a set of Rockville 800w speakers and they are awesome. The output is literally over 5 times louder. I don't mean to name any other product, but I want to give the facts. Each company will distort their wattage ratings by manipulating their distortion levels. I would always look more at db (decibel levels) for a better idea of output ratings or at minimum use their RMS watts ratings. Never look at peak wattage. It's usually to good to be true! ... show more

So far these speakers are great. I think for the money they are solid. I have the 12" speakers. 2 sets of them. 1 downside I've run into after 2 weeks of ownership, is that the main power cord stripped somehow. When it was plugged in, the stereo wouldn't power on unless we held the cord justso. I had to order a new cord online, which is fine considering the cord the speakers come with is very short. Bought a 25' cord which really makes a difference too. I reccomend these speakers as of right now. If anything changes I'll be sure to update. ... show more
