Waste of money & time The glue is not strong enough to hold and repair the dent, the yellow is weak, the black is stronger but not strong enough. I tried maybe 20 times, very little improvement. The tools are great, but the glue should be super strong Avoid

I recently found small dents on my car while trying to fix some small scratches myself. I previously had a scratch that I was able to buff out with a mini car polisher, so I decided to get this kit to try fixing the dent myself. It has a good variety of tools and is great for small DIY dent repairs. I'm happy to have this kit on hand for minor fixes instead of immediately taking the car to a body shop for expensive repairs.

The set is nice, and the price is right. However, I could not get it to work at all. No matter how clean I got the surface, the pull tabs, heated the glue, etc., I could not get the glue to either stay stuck to the car or the pull tab, and I tried about 20+ times with the different tools. I learned to pull slowly, I heated the metal with a heat gun, etc. I suppose this may work best on very small, hail-like dents. Maybe others have figured it out. If you give this a go, have moderate expectations or lots of patience to get it done. And, while the glue does come off, I found heat gun and scraper to be the best to get the most off and then GooGone to get the rest off. Be prepared for some effort to clean up off car.

This dent repair kit works pretty good for small dents on my car. It comes with many different size tabs and tools, so you can choose the right one for different dents. The dent lifter is easy to use after some practice. I was able to make the dent much less noticeable without going to body shop. For the price, I think it is a useful kit to have at home.
