This product sprays great. I purchased it for a second time. For an inexpensive sprayer, it spits a little, but gets a job done! I had the same problem as the original that I purchased. The pot does not screw onto the base well and you pull the trigger and the paint is all over the floor.

this spray worked well for the first two times then it got clogged. Out of my curiosity, I cut it open to find out how it works and how I can properly cleaning it. Here is my finding. Looks like you only need to take out the pin (see picture) that is holding the center piece and once the pin is removed the center piece will be popped out (because it is spring loaded). Now you can hook up the water and clean the inside in the meantime cleaning the center piece by wiping out the remaining paint. To install it back, just push the center piece back (with the spring) and insert the pin back in place to hold the center rod. Per my observation, the air gets warmed up after using it for a while and you can feel the pin is getting hot (yes like burning hot) and I believe that made the paint dry up quicker and causing the clogs. So, I would recommend to use this spray till you finish the job or till it stopped spit out the paint whichever comes first. Once you stopped the spray you need to clean the guts quickly because it will dry up pretty soon. Since taking out the pin and center piece seems to be pretty easy I would try to perform the cleaning this way. Because I have done the painting jobs and also I have successfully destroyed my spray gun, I cannot say how easily it really is to take out the pin & center piece and put it back so I can only wish you guys "Good Luck" should you try this method for cleaning! love the sprayer! it did a very good job in laying down a consistent coat and is also relatively easy to clean. Used it over a two week span on the first project where I had to sit for a day or two between drying and steel wool treatments on the wood and it always delivered great results. I even got lazy a couple of times and did not do a "REAL" cleaning on the off days and it still performed. Highly recommended

I had a 5-star rating but I changed it to 2. the reservoir keeps falling off after using it. The first time I used it, it all went great, i admit it makes painting or staining much easier. However, be ware, the reservoir may just randomly fall off and spill out our paint. I made sure it was clean and screwed on tight, it happened multiple times, I finally just gave up and held it on with one hand while spraying with the other.
