The reason I ordered this "Mosamart Paint Sprayer for House Painting 1000W HVLP Electric Spray Gun with 4 Nozzles": We have an add-on room on the back of our house. One wall is the original brick siding, and it runs the entire length of the house. It was painted before we bought the house, and then we painted it again about 22 years ago using a paint sprayer that we no longer have. It's definitely due for an upgrade, but it's NOT smooth brick. It's very chunky, and has deep crevices throughout. I think the texture is called "bark". Needless to say, it's a nightmare to clean, and it was definitely not intended to be an indoor brick where it can't be pressure washed. About the product: - This paint sprayer was a life saver, and even though it took a while to get here, it was an excellent value for it's low price! - It doesn't weigh very much, but filled with paint, it could seem heavy after holding it up for prolonged periods. - If painting indoors, cover absolutely everything that you don't want speckled with paint. And I mean everything. Floors, furniture, cabinets, etc. Even if you don't think you're close enough to get paint on it, throw a drop cloth or sheet over it. - You want to do swift, but steady swipes. Not too fast, not too slow. If you aren't familiar with how paint sprayers work, you should do a test run outdoors on cardboard. - Some paint brands/types will be too thick for a sprayer, but it can be thinned. ***Be sure to seek guidance on thinning paint if you aren't sure how to do it properly. If you only need a paint sprayer for occasional projects, or maybe even a small business start-up, I highly recommend this one!

We typically have used rollers for painting and brushes. Which are good but very time consuming and take a lot of work. My world has opened up so much with this sprayer from Mosamart. It works flawlessly. You can use it to paint nearly anything you could think of. Setup is really simple, not much to assemble. Follow the instructions and you'll be in business in no time. Do pay special attention to the dilution charts on your paints and make sure you thin it out to the proper thickness before using this. If you don't do so you could clog the sprayer and be in for a bad time. Usually there are instructions on your paint for dilution. Just follow that and you'll be laying out fine mists of pain in no time. The only negative I'd have to say about this sprayer, and it's not truly a huge negative for me is the capacity jug. It's not the biggest I've seen but it's great for most things. You just may have to fill up a lil bit more than some others. Otherwise it's great little entry level spray gun for your projects. Definitely recommend trying it out to see if you like it, I feel like you absolutely will like it more than traditional rollers.

Good value for an electric paint sprayer. Most of the components are plastic. I originally got it to spray paint a crib. The test sprays (see pics) turned out better than I though they would. The paint I was using was pretty thick. I thinned it a little and sprayed the test piece. The paint went on well, but a little splotchy. It actually evened out and looked better after it was dry. As with all sprayers, you have to get the paint the right consistency. The dip tube is angled so you can paint at 45 degree angles up or down. I used Acrylic (water clean-up) paint. The sprayer comes apart and is fairly easy to clean except for the paint reservoir. The opening in the reservoir is too small for large hands to get into and wipe out. Make sure you clean out the reservoir soon after painting to make sure you can rinse it out. The instruction sheet was pretty good - not too many words, but good illustrations. Tips: - make sure you have enough paint since there will be some waste in the bottom of the reservoir (like any sprayer). - make sure the paint is the correct consistency for spraying. This kit comes with 4 different sized nozzles, but you still need to get the paint viscosity right. - clean up the sprayer immediately after using. You can spray your cleaning fluid through the sprayer, but you should also take it apart and clean up any residual. It comes apart easily.

I picked up this sprayer to knock out a repaint in a bedroom. It works pretty good but did require a little thinning. It did work pretty good for the painting of the walls but did have a bit of over spray. I did mask everything off so the over spray wasn't much of a problem. I do recommend masking regardless of using a sprayer or other means to apply paint. Clean up wasn't a bad process at all. Easy break down of the sprayer and using latex for my paint on the walls made it even easier to clean up the sprayer. I'm not sure how long the sprayer will last but it is a very nice quality for a DIYer. I did one star instead of five due to the lack of instruction manual included. I had to go online and get one. I don't know if that was a one off accident by the manufacturer.
