The first detail that stood out to me is the overall design and layout of the machine. It is surprisingly compact, considering how powerful the motor claims to be. I deliberately sought out a tool that operates without a power cord. Wrestling with a heavy wire while trying to maneuver around a large door laying on sawhorses seemed like a disaster waiting to happen. Luckily, I already own a whole collection of twenty volt power packs for my yard equipment. The battery simply slides right into the base of the handle. I tested the fit, and it locks in tightly with zero wobbling. This adds a really nice counterweight to the bottom, which should make the entire tool much easier to balance once the front reservoir is completely filled with heavy liquid. I am particularly excited about the adjustable spray patterns. The doors I am working on have deep recessed panels and a lot of decorative molding. Trying to push a roller into those tight grooves is completely impossible. The instructions explain how to rotate the front cap to change the shape of the mist. I plan to use the focused circular pattern to coat the deep grooves first, and then quickly switch over to the wide vertical pattern to sweep across the large flat sections. The package also came with several different sized nozzles. I am dealing with a thick, heavy duty primer that is designed to block old stains from bleeding through. Knowing that this electric paint sprayer can handle high viscosity materials is a huge relief. I will not have to waste hours trying to dilute the primer perfectly. The inclusion of low voltage protection prevents the machine from draining my expensive lithium batteries down to a dangerous level. Overload protection is equally important, especially since I will be running the motor continuously for long stretches of time.

Staining a massive wooden privacy fence has been on my to-do list for way too long. The perimeter of my property is huge, and running extension cords out that far is completely impossible. I bought this portable device hoping it would solve my range problem. I just took it out of the box an hour ago. Popping in one of my fully charged tool batteries took only a second. I filled up the large cup with exterior stain, adjusted the nozzle, and started spraying the back panels.The absolute best part is the complete freedom of movement. I walked all the way to the back corner of the lot without dragging a single wire behind me. The motor sounds surprisingly quiet compared to the loud air compressors I used in the past. It delivers a very consistent flow rate, which allowed me to coat the rough cedar planks deeply and evenly. Uneven spots always bother me, but this unit saturates the wood fibers beautifully. I experimented with the different nozzle tips included in the box until I found the exact right size for my specific liquid.I really love that the device has built-in overload protection. Working outside in the direct sun while continuously holding down the trigger can overwork a motor, but this unit stayed cool and steady the entire time. The capacity of the reservoir is also quite generous. I managed to cover multiple large panels before having to walk back to the garage for a refill. Painting outside usually involves a lot of dripping, yet this electric paint sprayer kept the mess to an absolute minimum. The spray pattern remained tight and focused exactly where I pointed it. This tool definitely makes heavy outdoor coating tasks much more manageable.

Remodeling a house is an exhausting process that consumes every bit of free time. My current focus is completely updating a huge master bedroom that features an incredible amount of ugly baseboards and dark window trims. I originally planned to tackle the entire room using traditional rollers and small detail brushes. After doing just one single wall, my arms were screaming in pain, and the finish looked terribly uneven. I received the package just a little while ago and I am currently reading through the manual before I begin the actual work.Right out of the box, the tool feels surprisingly well balanced. The plastic housing seems thick enough to survive the inevitable drops and bumps that happen on a messy construction site. I love the fact that it operates entirely on the twenty volt batteries I already keep charged for my drills and saws. Using cordless equipment indoors means I can walk freely around the center of the room without constantly stepping over thick orange cables. The manufacturer included multiple different nozzle tips, which is a fantastic detail. I plan to use the smallest tip for the narrow window casings and switch to the widest tip when I eventually move on to coating the actual drywall.One feature that immediately caught my eye is the large capacity of the bottom container. Constantly stopping to pour more liquid into a tiny cup completely ruins the rhythm of painting. This large reservoir looks like it will hold enough material to cover a massive section of the room in a single go. The description also mentions that the motor can easily push highly viscous materials. Latex wall coverings are notoriously thick and sticky. My old corded unit used to clog up constantly unless I watered the mixture down to a completely useless watery mess.

I am spending almost all my free time updating the exterior of the property, mostly focusing on a massive wooden fence that borders the yard. I picked up this cordless paint sprayer out of pure necessity. My garage is full of old wooden shelves that desperately needed a fresh coat, and doing it by hand with a brush sounded like a nightmare. I already own plenty of compatible 20-volt tool batteries from my other power tools, so grabbing a bare unit made perfect sense. I attached a fully charged battery, mixed up my primer, and went straight to work.Because there is no power cord to drag around the concrete floor, I felt completely free moving from one end of the shelving unit to the other. The container holds plenty of material. I found myself covering a lot of surface area before needing to refill. The steady flow from the nozzle kept the coverage even, which means no ugly drip marks on my wood. Using a brush always leaves strokes, but this electric paint sprayer gun laid down a smooth finish right from the start.I chose the vertical pattern to go up and down the long support beams. It functioned flawlessly. Cleaning out the cup and the internal parts took a bit of effort at the sink, but nothing out of the ordinary for painting equipment.
