I use these to decorate outdoor volleyballs, they're vibrant and permanent in the sense that water doesn't mess with them (I've even tried nail polish remover on my mistakes and that barely did anything). They do eventually ware down with play but I believe that's more of the marker getting scraped off than anything. That was the good part...However this is my second time ordering these markers. The cardboard box they came in eventually got wet so I re-homed them in a big plastic gallon bag. However, a couple of the markers kind've leaked. A couple happened while using, it would clog so I would shake the marker and press down again and then get a little explosion of the ink (for example the finding nemo ball was originally going to be stitch...but I ended up having to make a blue background). Others leaked in the bag then dried in a kind of powder that covered all of the rest. This prompted me to throw them all out because I was tired of dying my hands red when I used them. I noticed the ones that leaked all had caps really hard to take off and even harder to push back down all the way. Maybe an oversight? ... show more

I spent quite a while researching, reading reviews, etc. for something that would be vibrant, permanent, and last long (possibly outdoors). These pens worked great and there's so many colors to choose from. I made sure to follow the directions, especially the first time around (shake and push air out). Well, my project idea on an old saw I found at the swap meet, it was so nice, my husband doesn't want me to put it outside (lol). Next, I plan to do the same but a large floral design on a couple metal milk jugs we have displayed in the garden. For the "faux crosstitch", I use plastic canvas and a black Sharpie permanent marker to create the crosstitch "holes". When dry, I fill in with an X, the "stitches" with the oil base, water resistant, fade resistant paint pens. ... show more

When I ordered the 28 pack (I believe), there were 4 of the markers that came busted. The white and light purple were leaking all over, so I just threw those away. The dark purple is incredibly sheer. These markers are very hit or miss - some of them are really easy to use and they are opaque, others are a pain in the butt and give you garbage results until you go over them again, and then they get clumpy if you do a second layer. They're an okay product, nothing mind blowing. I recommend investing in a slightly better quality marker set, I'm already down 5 markers and it's been less than 2 months. ... show more

I bought these to paint rocks after reading so many positive reviews. No one mentioned that - if you press down on the tip - paint gushes onto your project, ruining it and wasting paint. The nubs are thicker than I anticipated as well.

Ya los abrí, la caja viene sellada y cada marcador viene sellado con plástico. Al abrirlos hay que sacarle el aire a cada uno y mantenerlos presionados para que la tinta salga. Uno de los marcadores venida dañado y cuando lo abrí la tinta se regó y la punta venía dañada. Ya los utilicé y así funcionan. ... show more
