I am using the white pens on brown plastic/vinyl tree tags, and they are working like they should so far. They've lasted throughout heavy rains and high heat - how they work over the winter remains to be seen, but I've used similar oil-based pens before and still have crystal clear tags after years of use. The white color stands out very well on a darker background and the dispersion of the pigment has been very uniform. Would buy again.

I got these paint pens primarily for touchup projects in tight areas and for craft projects. I do rock painting, and they are good for that type of project because they are oil-based and therefore waterproof. I like that they come in a pen form because they are easier to apply than paint with a brush and there is no cleanup needed. They are easy to use in that you prime it to fill the tip with paint by pressing down on it few times. l like that they work on a lot of different types of surfaces too because I do a lot of crafting. I just got my pumpkins too and I may use them for a design on my white one. I usually put my pumpkins out plain with other decorative things around them (so I can use them for Halloween and Thanksgiving) but this year will be different.
