After a ton of research on anti-theft backpacks I decided to go with this one. I used it for most of my day trips throughout all of Europe over a 2 month period. I couldn't have been happier. It was comfortable (hot and cold days), durable and held everything i needed it for. There are different compartments/zippers/water bottle holders (or umbrella holder). The color is great. This is spacious with locks. I appreciate the water bottle pockets on the sides. I don't like the yanking lock mechanism on the front pocket so I don't use it much. I love the back pocket that can be used for a wallet and passport, etc. so you never have to worry about those items. The little pocket inside the main pocket is great for keys, pens, or ear buds. I like the color. I use it for travel (fits under airplane seats) and walking around the city. After many years, I wore my previous Pacsafe backpack out and this is a good replacement. ... show more

I've had the bag now for a couple of days. Preparing to go to Hawaii with it. It has a good size bags, but I'm disappointed it does not have enough side pockets to store smaller items. Like in the front. It would be nice to have a side pocket in the front to carry airline tickets or other... Also, you'd figure that for this price, the handle at the top of the bag would be a better handle than just a , well,, handle. I would've have like it to be a thicker handle so I could carry it like a bag or sorts. Everything just get dumped into the big inside bag and outside bag. ... show more

The bag is everything they say it is. Love the way you can secure it to a chair or post so no one can snatch it. Storage capacity is great. Looks good, definitely has a bit of style. Had an issue where the zipper in a freak accident jumped the track. Pacsafe quite simply has THE BEST customer service. They responded quickly and within 10 days I had a replacement. I needed a larger backpack so looked at the Pacsafe brand like my smaller 15 L one. It’s a new design and color and both work well. I like to be able to put my smaller purse into my backpack to make air travel easier. There is an outside zipper compartment great for smaller items: charging cables, hand wipes, snacks. I carried my iPad, book, magazines, jacket and purse without it being stuffed. I love it! ... show more

    • Gorgeous and well made. Anti theft not so much.
This is a very nice looking backpack. It is spacious and well made, has a padded laptop pocket and several other pockets in ingenious places. Importantly for me, it has a large space in the main part of the bag. I intended to use this as one of my carry ons, and I prefer a large main pocket to one that is divided up into small pockets. It is squishy so it will fit under the seat in most aircraft if it is not completely stuffed, otherwise it fits easily in the overhead. I ordered it primarily for the anti theft features because I am travelling to a place that has pickpockets (bitter experience). One of the style features is long, bright yellow zipper pulls that show thieves exactly how to get into your pack. The zipper locking system is a plastic hook that is very fussy to use. I don't expect or need super security, just deterrence from opportunistic thefts, but Travelon does a better job of that. Had theft not been a concern, I would definitely choose this bag because it is sleek, attractive, well made and organized as I like a pack to be. ... show more
