However it is sturdier than I anticipated. I bought it without reading it was cardboard, that's completely on me. HOWEVER - for cardboard it is very good. I'd bought 3, only 1 came in so far, but I will be keeping the other 2. It's still a much less expensive option than others out there. Firstly, the people leaving negative reviews because this organizer is cardboard are just ridiculous! Its very clear that the material is cardboard. Not wood, if you take the time to read description! (Anyone purchasing items online should know that you should always pay attention to what you're paying for). Hello, ever heard the saying "buyer beware"? Anyway, This is a perfectly sturdy, cardboard paper storage organizer! The cardboard is not flimsy box material. Its corrugated cardboard, and almost 1/2" thick all around. Plus, it was fairly easily and quickly assembled with included diagram and instructions. The one thing I really don't like is how large the completed unit it is once put together because it makes it very hard to find a space to actually put it lol. Yes, i could've made a similar organizer with cardboard myself, but I don't have access to this thick of cardboard and with standard cardboard boxes, it would've been too flimsy to hold paper of this size and weight. This holds my 12x12 and letter sized cardstock and copy paper, as well as scrap papers perfectly fine! I've had it for 6 months now, and there aren't any defects, or bowing in any spot so far. Im very happy with this purchase and would buy again if needed. Again, don't pay attention to reviews that are negative because they got cardboard. They should've read the description. This was priced fairly for the size and capacity for storage. If I was buying a unit of this size in wood material I'd pay over $100, so this is an affordable, yet practical option for anyone needing paper storage or a letter organizer. Even though I read the dimensions, I didn’t realize how big this item would be. They are great for organizing my 12 x 12 craft paper. They seem very sturdy. Time will tell how they hold up.

I ordered this from Amazon it noted the box may be damaged but that the product was used like new in original box. When it arrived I could see where the box was damaged but taped back together. When I opened it the main box was also damaged in two corners. It also did not come with instructions on how to put it together, but I did find a video on the internet. I decided to put it together to see the overall size and how sturdy it was before sending it back. It was super easy to put together and for a cardboard product it was sturdier the I thought it would be. After it was put together you couldn’t even see the damaged part of the cardboard, as it folded to the inside. I also enjoyed the savings from $21 to $9 so I decided I would just keep it. Im writing this post to notify others that when buying a used piece, be sure to ask questions about it when it notes a damaged box because it most likely means the product is damaged as well. I’ve had this for five years now and it’s starting to show its age. I’ve duct taped the inside of this to keep the middle dividers in place and reinforced the seams with tape too. You cannot stack anything on top of this because that will add too much weight.
