I've had this shelf for about a year, and it's holding up very well. The wood the shelf is made out of is sturdy and did not arrive with any dings or other damage. The plastic bins are nice and heavy plastic. They have proven to be pretty durable. The storage unit is a nice height for young kids and it doesn't seem tippy. The cubbies area bit small, but most of my puzzles can fit on shelves and a wide variety of small odds and ends toys fit into the buckets.

The product is not sturdy. I like the way it looks but it is very small and did not come with the bins. I should have read the reviews. Message sent to seller did not respond and I called Amazon. Now I have to send this cubby back for a full refund. THIS CUBBY IS SMALL

The sides and the center shelf are plywood. The dividers and the back are press board. The cubby are very flimsy. Not a great product especially for the price. Very disappointed. Easy to assemble for one person.

The totes are smaller than they are listed here- they DO NOT hold a sheet of paper( as shown) with out being folded in half-- I love the cubbies for what they are, but i wanted what was shown- not tiny cubbies, i wanted the full paper size or I wouldnt of ordered it.

I bought this to store cameras. I wanted something narrow, so it would fit in a niche under my office bookshelves, with multiple compartments, a solid back, and ideally no metal shelves. I considered blocks of cubical lockers, but they were *expensive*. At $160, this unit was perfect. The bins are large enough for a medium format twin lens camera, or can hold several 35mm rangefinders and lenses. The translucent front makes it easy to see what's where, and the bins can be labelled without damaging them.

Only received plastic bins. No shelf. Looks like the other reviewer got the shelf and I got the bins. Bins were nice though but sending back because not worth the price I paid just for the bins. Update: I have ordered this same shelf a total of 4 times now. The first and second time only the tubs came. It was the same box both times. So somehow I sent it back the first time and rebought only to get the same box shipped back. The third time I actually got the shelf. The shelf is actually nice quality and for the price I paid I will keep it even though it is missing the tubs. The 4th time I ordered I got another set of the tubs only. So they will be getting sent back again. It’s a shame because it is a nice shelf and I really wanted a second one. It would be great if they would let me keep the tubs and refund one purchase seeing as I was supposed to get both the shelf and tubs together. Lowering to 1 star because if you order this and really needed the shelf by a certain time it would be like playing the lottery. Maybe it comes, maybe not. Will you get it all who knows. Quality of product is not the issue here. The problem I am guessing is that the product is packaged in two separate boxes and it seems the amazon system is only grabbing one box and shipping it off as if it was complete.
