It travelled 500+ miles on the Camino de Santiago and was light, full sized, went all the way around my 42+inch waist, dried me completely, air dried itself quickly, and rolled up compactly. This material can't be beat for how much it can absorb and fast drying. We got some of those fancy Teselate towels, which were heavier and absorbed well, but those wouldn't dry at all, still being wet after hanging for hours. Good towel, easy to pack and quick drying. But is more like a chamois than a microfiber towel. It is stiff and while absorbent it just doesn't dry you hair very well.

Bought this towel after watching a YouTube video of someone testing a bunch of these portable towels. After over a year of using it on and off when the hostels don't provide towels, I can say it was a good purchase. It drys me almost as well as a cotton towel and drys itself super fast. It can be washed and dried in a machine which is most convenient. The strap it came with did break off on mine after about 10 months, but I feel that is inevitable wear and tear of a travel towel. There's a little bit of fraying at one of the corners too but again, not exexpected to me. Overall would recommend! ... show more
