This material can't be beat for how much it can absorb and fast drying. We got some of those fancy Teselate towels, which were heavier and absorbed well, but those wouldn't dry at all, still being wet after hanging for hours. I brought this to Yosemite backpacking! great pattern, worked well without too much sand sticking too it, dried quickly overnight, and didn't get too wrinkly when packed. Perhaps a little pricey but seems to be worth the quality overall.

Great towels for travel. Used them in Hawaii and on a cruise for random beach activities. Love the quick drying and that they worked for us (even after sharing the towel). They do work more like a shammy than a regular towel, but loved that they fit in a day bag for waterfall hikes, snorkeling and other adventures while taking about 1/10 of the room of a standard beach towel. ... show more

This is pure gold. I’ve been traveling for a month and this towel is marvelous, kept me dry all the time and took a couple of hours to get rid of all the wet within it. No odor, very soft, just amazing. Totally recommend it.

This PackTowl works very well to dry your body off after a shower, a day at the beach, or water park, and it doesn’t take long to dry out itself. It’s much more efficient than a traditional cotton towel, and it folds up much thinner than a cotton towel as well. It’s truly a win-win option in replacing cotton towels for its efficiency and packability. Being the beach size, it’s quite large, but no where near as bulky as a cotton beach towel would be. It has a hanging loop at one corner that also unsnaps so you can easily secure it to something as well. The only con I found with this towel is that it doesn’t glide across your body as easily as the Luxe models, or even a cotton towel would. It tends to grip to your body as you dry off, making it just a tad more difficult in wiping water off yourself. This is something you can learn to adjust to, but it’s something you will notice when first using it. I rated this 4 stars due to it not being as soft or easy to wipe as the Luxe versions, but it truly is still superior to any cotton towel and perfect for taking with you as it doesn’t take up as much space in a backpack as a cotton towel would. ... show more

I did quite a bit of research on the most absorbent travel towels and this one kept winning! I use it for camping and backpacking and it's perfect! Folds down so small, the hand size dries off my whole body after swimming, so it's super absorbent. Can't recommend this enough!
