2007 Subaru Forester, fits perfectly. What’s more is It’s better quality than filters 2, 3, 4 times the price. Yes really. I mean the jury’s out on the filter media but at a glance it looks as robust as any. But it for real has sturdier construction than the Fram, Wix, and/or Purolator that I’ve used in the past. You know how flat air filters have gotten increasingly flimsy and feature less to no metal or plastic? No backbone? Just filter media and foam rubber flopping around? And coupled with most modern car’s air intake assemblies it feels like wrestling with a greasy habor seal just to get the filter in and seated correctly? Yes. I was skeptical, so i only purchased 1 filter. i now wish i had bought 10! Fit is perfect, and i can't tell of any difference in quality between this and the expensive filters i had been buying in the past. Another case of like 13 pages of choices for my car's specific filter type and i went through all of them searching for a happy medium of price and quality. Almost a the very end....and there this was. i usually don't wait for the full elapsed time/mileage to change filters but apparently i was due. Upon installing this new filter i noticed immediate increase in power and the engine running more smoothly. i'm very pleased with this filter purchase and i hope you will be also should you decide to purchase. I bought this for our 2001 Nissan Frontier. It was impossible to get the casing which holds the air filter to close due to the rubber around the outside being too thick. I compared it with the old filter and the difference was that the old filter had a gradual decrease in the thickness, rather than being the same thickness all the way across the rubber trim. I finally ended up having to trim the rubber piece to reduce the thickness before I could fasten the clasps. It was quite aggravating, but I'm glad I was able to get it to work in the end. I wouldn't recommend if you have a 2001 Nissan Frontier. ... show more
