I own a badger/Iwata and Paasche. I like all of them i think it depends how much you are going to use it. I use my Iwata for details. Badger for boths details and cover mid size models. My Paasche for big proyects to cover bib areas. The price is great for what you get. From my first Paasche they has improve to compete with Iwata or Badger. ... show more

    • Very easy to use and setup, but make sure you have the right compressor.
Great product that we used for Halloween costumes this year. A few notes though. 1. The hose connection to the compressor on airbrushes isn't standard. So it's best to use compressors and airbrushes from matching brands. Otherwise it can be a bit of a headache to find adapters, and they will often leak. 2. The paint reservoirs are friction fit. Make sure you push them in very well or you'll have a mess on your hands when the pressure drops the paint vial. ... show more

I use this to spray down my Cortec correosion control for my airplane build (not RC). Easy set up, easy spray, excellent control, easy cleanup (Cortec is waterbased). I started with cutting it at about 1/4th with water, not knowing how well it'd perform with thicker paint/primer. It worked great, so I gradually moved my mixture up (with various pressure from my air compressor) to about 50/50. Still works great. I got to 60/40 (Cortec/water) at 30psi and decided that it's probably the best mix I can hope for and I have no need to play around any more. I never hit the 'too thick to spray clean' point. I do scale models and am pretty fanatical about paint finish on my car models. I’ve been through many airbrushes and this one is fantastic!!! I have the fan cap for large areas and it doesn’t disappoint. Saves me a huge amount of time sanding and compounding for the perfect finish. In some cases, I really wouldn’t have to wet sand at all (I always do anyway). As long as you keep it clean, it will lay a nice, even layer with no orange peel. Of course, you need to control paint volume to avoid dripping and runs. If you know how to control an airbrush, this one will treat you well ... show more

    • I couldn't get it to work. probably my fault though
It probably was me and my wife but we couldn't make this work successfully. A spit of paint here. A streak there but it just didnt seem to want to work. We had never used an air brush and I think we can still say that. So be prepared to practice and test your ability before any "GO" times, i.e. deadlines or ther situations that may prove embarrassing if things dont work. ... show more

    • Trigger Stop & 2 Head Assemblies Included?

Heads up for beginners. If you watched videos or read reviews of the Talon line you noticed they are mostly show just talk about the TG-SET (gravity feed) airbrush. They all explain the "trigger stop" feature so you can stop the trigger at the same point - to make the exact same spray pattern over and over. They show the handle (gold plated part) is open with a chrome adjuster nut at the very end. This was a primary factor why I ordered the Talon. To my shock, the TS-SET (siphon feed) does NOT come with this "trigger stop" adjuster. The TS kit images don't show an open handle so I thought it might be inside the handle, maybe a different design due to the siphon feed. If you want this trigger stop adjustment you must order this as a separate $14 part called the: Handle And Stop Assembly For TG And TS Airbrushes (see image). Its a wise investment. The airbrush tip sizes are made up of three parts (Tip, Needle, Aircap). Industry wide, these parts are often called the "Head Assembly" but Paasche just calls it the "Head". So yes, this airbrush kit does come with all six parts so you can have either (Size #2 - .38mm) or the (Size #3 - .66mm) spray patterns. The kit comes with Size 3 installed. The aircap and tip for Size 2 are in a bag, the needle for Size 2 is...you'll probably poke yourself, they put if under the airbrush, be careful pulling the airbrush out for the first time. ... show more
