Description

The airbrush features a chrome plated body for durability. Included with the airbrush are all three available spray heads, which allow the H airbrush to be used in a wide range of application. The H single action allows the user to achieve fine lines down to 1/16-inch and wider patterns of up to 1-1/2-inch. The H is simple and easy to use and requires very little practice compared to double action models. The best uses are those requiring more basic spraying like solid coats, uniform lines or stencil work. Clean up is as simple as spraying your paint cleaner though the airbrush. The H is used for many applications including hobby, craft, chip and ding repair, taxidermy, ceramics, cake decorating, tanning, tattoos, etc. The H airbrush is made in the US and includes the following: H3 airbrush, size 1 and 5 spray heads, 1/4-ounce metal cup, 1-ounce bottle assembly, 1-ounce storage bottle, hanger, wrench, 6-foot braided hose, lessons booklet and manual.

  • Woodworking MDF Final Coats Recommend
Never used an airbrush, and the Paasche H a blast. Little more to it then a spray paint can but so worth it. I use the largest diameter, to allow for random mixes of paint to flow better. I have pushed tons of crappy paint through this thing. If the color is too thick, thin, it down and maybe crank up the pressure. Don't overthink it! I have sprayed with it for about six different sessions, testing all sorts of paint and coating tons of parts for my humble CNC woodshop side hustle. The pieces getting covered have detail and depth, making it hard to use rattle cans without wrecking every other part. Not to mention, spray painting outside is just not going to work in the middle of a midwest winter. I purchased this one specifically for how easy it is to use, clean, and overall less can go wrong compared to a dual-action airbrush. Cleaning paint off anything is not a glorious job, but with the right solvent, it's easy. Careful not to wreck your kitchen sink with some paint thinner, trust me, I'm on my second sink in 2 years. The hard to reach spots are virtually impossible to hit with a rattle can, often ruins part, and weather makes it impossible to spray outside. I have shot paint with Createx, cheap acrylic mixes, and even got oil-based paint to work. I really went overboard and built a small spray booth with a powerful fan and vented directly outside. You have to use a chemically rated face mask with filter changes. (Dust masks do NOT work) I have found acrylic-based alternatives to all my coating materials and only apply solvent-based stains by hand. VOC's bad, VOC's misted into the air, not good. Paasche has been around for a long time directly out of WI, as learned from the manual, always nice to see. Hope This Helps! I was NOT paid or sponsored to write this review in any way! ... show more

  • It's a Paasche, isn't it? :-) Say no more!
I'm a newbie to this art but, my past history suggested I get a Paasche, as I've known other folks who do this for a living and that's their choice. Pretty much everything you need comes in the kit, sans the paint itself. I have tried some water-based dyes, which work OK but, have decided I'm going to give the real deal paints a shot so, ordered some of those. I'm primarily using it as "mixed media" with some woodworking I do. With practice, I have no doubt this will turn the trick for me. If it doesn't, it's NOT the fault of the airbrush! Also, VERY important to note: I had a slight issue with the unit and contacted Paasche and received a reply from Chuck within a day. We agreed on what replacement part it may need and he'd send it out to me. In less than 48hrs., I have the part in-hand! Truth be told, I have TWO of the parts! And yes, it took care of my issue(s)! Chuck clearly went above and beyond my expectations and Paasche has a return customer for ANY of my airbrush needs! (Just ordered my second Paasche yesterday, the Talon, before I even knew the Customer Service was "over the top"!) Recommended? A resounding YES to both, the airbrush and to the Paasche Customer Service! ... show more

  • Great airbrush for the $$
This was the airbrush my Dad had when I was a kid (~30 years ago). I looked at others and they were either too expensive or seemed too cheap to do a good job. I did buy a knockoff airbrush (dual-action) before this since it was very cheap to try(~ twenty bucks), but it seemed to splatter alot which is not good if you really want a nice paint job. I then got this airbrush, and HUGE difference. No splattering, smooth paint flow, easy enough to clean. Kept my air pressure around 15-20 psi. I was already familiar with this airbrush since I used it many times as a kid and my Dads old one still works after 30+ years too and basically the exact same design/parts. As I learned with my dads, be very careful not to damage the needles when assembling or disassembling the nozzle. Once the needle point gets bent, it is ruined (but not that expensive to replace). This is a great deal and great airbrush for someone who just wants a good one for painting models or other small hobby items plus it will last for years with good care. I only used this with enamal paints for plastic models and only really needed the medium (size 3) nozzles, even though it came with 3 sizes. So if you have other uses for this in mind, you may want to read other reviews as well. No question in the quality of this brush though. ... show more

  • Very good airbrush.
I was having trouble painting my trout carving. I have to use acrylic airbrush paints, as I have no exhaust system for lacquer paints. Nozzle clogging was a significant problem with my other airbrush. I ordered this one as a backup, and will use it from now on. The one minor thing, which caused the 4 rather than 5 star rating, was that the #1 nozzle (the fine one) didn't have the needle. I had to order a separate #1 nozzle and needle set, so I ended up paying the same amount I would have spent for a new airbrush, instead of saving money buying this one "used in good condition. It was in good condition, it just wasn't complete. ... show more

  • Spend a few extra dollars for a good airbrush simpler is sometimes better.
Im just a simple model kit builder. I was given a Paache VL series double action air brush and I had ZERO skills at using an airbrush. I started to learn with it but over time it just started to wear out. I did rebuild it, new needles, tips, O rings and a new valve upgrade and it worked much better for awhile but it started to show its age again. Then I bought another cheap double action air brush and it worked great once or twice then no matter what I did to improve ot it never worked the same again so I purchased this much simpler design (but better quality) Paache airbrush and I tell you what, for what I need on an air abrush this is Perfect. Since I had much more experience than when I first started, it performed flawless right out of the box. ... show more
