Description
The Paasche TG is a double action gravity feed airbrush. The airbrush features a chrome plated body and anodized aluminum handle for durability. The TG is our finest detail airbrush allowing the user to achieve hair line detail and using our included fan aircap wider patterns up to 3 inches. A PTFE packing allows the TG to handle any water or solvent based paint. Clean up is as simple as spraying your paint cleaner through the airbrush and wiping off the needle. The TG is best used for those requiring high end detail. Best customer service I've seen in a long time.

Okay so I had been comparing airbrushes for months before I finally decided to go with the Talon. I previously had one of Paasche's cheaper single action airbrushes, and it worked great. The only reason I bought a new one was because I felt I needed a double action, but since modeling is just a small hobby of mine, I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a new airbrush. Well, I finally bit the bullet and bought the Talon, and when it arrived, I opened the box to be met with disappointment. all the was included was the airbrush, the hose, and the different sized aircaps. I was missing the needles, and the tips for those nozzles though, so they were basically useless. I contacted support, and after a few emails going over what I was missing, they are sending me all of the missing parts. It was an incredibly quick process, and I am thoroughly impressed with the customer service of Paasche. Now onto the airbrush. With the one needle, tip, and aircap I currently have, I am incredibly impressed. It shoots paint very smooth and is very easy to disassemble for cleaning. I did see in other reviews that the trigger feels "ratchety or notchy", and at first I felt the same way. When I pressed the trigger, it kept sticking down, opening the air valve. I found that when you hook it up to air, this is no longer a problem, as the air pressure closes the valve. I've actually come to like this, as it makes it easier to only partially depress the trigger. Overall, it is an amazing airbrush coming from an amazing company at an amazing price.

The delivery was FAST put my order on evening 27th jun arrived 2nd July From US to Sweden. Impressive. This is my second TG had to get a new backup before all the tariff shenanigan goes in to affect. The airbrush is as expected a very nice piece of kit. it's my 6th Paasche and I stopped to use other brands.

Broke after 2 1/2 months of use…

This air brush worked amazing during the shorts months I was able to use it until the air connection broke off the gun. The spray pattern is perfect, the double action is smooth and consistent, and it’s easy to clean!! I will say it’s not worth the money if it’s going to break after 2 1/2 months of use. I’m extremely disappointed and have no way on contacting the company to resolve my issue.

Good for a beginner and short sessions

I am new to airbrushing but I am an avid miniature painter. I took this thing apart and reassembled about 3 times before i used it so I could get the hang. I see a lot of people complaining about adapter issues but i just took the hose down to the hardware store and got the 1/4" plug i needed to slip into my compressor. I'm using my smaller 6lb pancake so the issues I have with this brush were not compressor related. I spend 3 hours painting this evening after receiving this product. It was fairly easy to clean, some water in the tank, wipe it out, spray a little bit until it was clear then reload. Easy money. Problem lies within a leak near the trigger system. It became unusable without a complete disassembly and cleaning due to the trigger becoming backed up with paint. I'm assuming it happened to due clogging issues i had, but the clogging was me working on my paint/medium ratio. I was also using the finer needle/tip so that could have been an issue with backpressure though I was running my compressor at around 25psi (roughly optimal for this airbrush) I won't be using the fine tip anymore, but the T2,T3, and the spray nozzel rock. Going to spend the money on an Iwata brush for better detailing. EDIT: I Switched from 4 to 3 stars because it turns out it was not a paint issues, i had a leak in my forward nozzle. Fixed with beeswax but I changed my rating because I just got the Sparmax SP35 and there is a fairly large difference in quality that is easily noticeable even for a novice like me. This gun will be my thumper, as in my use and abuse gun since I know it will perform with the larger nozzles but isn't as precise as the Sparmax. I don't really think it was worth the price, maybe $20 less and i'd stay at 4 star.

American made, well machined fittings sit nicely and it just works It's really hard to go wrong with Airbrush tools, they are very simple and easy to use/clean It comes down to the quality of parts and manufacturing. Iwata = Japanese made. Precision parts and machining, tolerances down to a micron Paasche - American Made. Quality parts and metals, Local, American, Just works and works and works, affordable

Worst airbrush I’ve ever used

I bought this airbrush to replace (or at least augment) my “Master” airbrush that cost a third of this one. I was very excited to try it out tonight, and have to say it’s the worst airbrush I’ve ever seen. I tried both the needle/cap that came factory installed (the ~ .3 mm one) as well as the (unlabeled!?) .25 mm needle/cap. Out of the box and with a fresh mix of paint and thinner that worked fine in the Master airbrush, it immediately started having flow issues. I then cleaned and disassembled it and tried the other needle/cap with another fresh mix of paint— absolutely no difference. I then cleaned it out again and tried some Alclad II aluminum — a lacquer that works in just about any airbrush right out of the bottle — and it sputtered with that too. I also noticed it causing the paint in the cup to bubble, so I doublechecked that the air hole was clear and clean. In disassembly I noticed that the inner needle cap (the one that uses the square hole on the wrench) seemed to get stuck mid-thread. I was able to get it fully on and off, but it still seemed to hitch in the middle each time. I also noticed that the needle seemed to bend a little when inserting it, binding at the point it meets the cup. It was initially so bad that the needle wouldn’t return with the spring. I worked it back and forth a little bit with some thinner in the cup to lubricate it and that got the needle returning (although not smoothly). It seems like the bore is not straight, which is why I believe mine may be defective. The photo I’ve attached shows the difference between my cheap “master” on the right and this supposedly better Talon on the left using two different paints thinned identically. I’m in the process of returning the tallon and will look for another manufacturer, possibly an Iwata. I had a single action pasche years ago that worked a bit better, but was a nightmare to clean. Assuming my Tallon is defective and putting that aside, other things I noticed: the different size needles and caps are unlabeled, even in the bag. The brush is pretty heavy compare to the master — some might like the heft, though. It IS super easy to clean, as you can pop the needle off and run a wire brush straight into the paint cup (which is much nicer than the Master’s design), so I’ll give it credit there.

A real air brush

I have had all the airbrushes all of them far as I am concerned throw all the 500 dollar ones the Iwata's all of them throw them in the garbage this americam made Paasche is the only one that is worth its money ! I have had all of them all different kinds ,, paasche is the only one I am buying matter of fact I am throwing the rest in the garbage right now they are just a waste of time and money
