As a side/stomach sleeper, this matress is very comfortable. It has the right amount of squish and firmness and I haven't woken up to back pain since getting this new matress!

I AM getting better sleep. But we replaced a 12" mattress and this one never really filled up past about 10 inches. It's really firm so it's a bit of a challenge to get used to. A BACK sleeper with love it. As a side sleeper, it takes me a while to get comfortable (but once I do, I sleep fine, no pain). We've added a soft mattress topper just today to see if that gives it a little more cushiness when climbing into bed at night. I'm sure I'll get used to it. And the price was really great. Shipping great too. I was able to unbox and lay it out myself.

Hopefully this review will help you with your purchase. 1. It is very firm which is great for my and my fiance because of our backs. 2. Take it out of the box as soon as you get it and keep it in a warm room. The heat will help it rise to the correct height. 3. I slept on it the night it arrived and it’s been fine. The waiting period is typically because of the smell (which I didn’t smell) from the gases. 4. Humidity will cause it to take longer to rise I’ve read a lot of negative but honestly I just think most probably did not follow the directions properly. It says do not leave in box because it’s suctioned for shipping and the longer you leave it in the box the harder it is on the mattress. I placed a heater in the bedroom and let it sit for about 8 hours before I slept on it. I would absolutely buy this mattress again and put 100% recommend. I love that when my fiance moves around in the bed, I don’t feel him. I love love love the firmness. My neck back and hips have not ached since night one. FYI the bed frame in the pic was purchased from amazon as well. It was super easy to put together and works perfectly with the mattress. This picture was about two hours after I unpacked the mattress.

TLDR; Definitely buy this mattress if you want to sleep on a squishy cloud every night. First off I want to say, I read a ton of mixed reviews before clicking buy and was quite nervous! I researched for months!!! I haven't bought a new bed of my own before, let alone a bed that comes in a box. I really was so confused by the reviews. Some were raving and many hated this bed. I got tired of researching and going around in circles with every other good and bad review, so finally just decided to click buy on this one: 10" Queen. It arrived in a box just shorter than me. (I'm 5'2", extremely difficult for me to carry the box alone into the house, but I managed!) I was a bit skeptical that this sealed mattress in this box would expand to an actual queen size and 10" thickness. I followed the instructions on how to open and get set up. Definitely follow these instructions and don't accidentally cut the plastic layer keeping the mattress compressed -until ready for it to expand- or the mattress itself. Cutter tool was included, which was very useful!! Once situated in the room, I cut the last layer of plastic off mattress and it immediately began to expand. I measured it for a few hours and by the end of the night it had expanded fully. I wasn't sure what the firmness or lack there of would be due to the reviews. I laid on it and it was extremely squishy, like very squishy -like a cloud. The first few nights my neck hurt from sinking in so much. However, I switched to a less fluffy pillow and now absolutely no back pain. I used to get out of bed and be so sore, no more with this mattress though! (Also purchased a 14" metal platform frame off Amazon too, and that helped more with the comfort. I initially had the mattress on the floor the first week.) Only con is that, the corners aren't fully expanded to the usual corner shape; I don't think. But to me that is fine, because those 2 corners are against my wall and hidden by pillows. Now that you've read this novel, just add it to your cart and get ready for a comfy, squishy bed that you just sink into like a cloud. :) A good investment at a reasonable price if you are budget shopping for a nice, convenient mattress. Also, great that there's no hauling required, ships right to your doorstep.

We unboxed this mattress knowing the off-gassing smell would take a while to dissipate. That actually was not an issue for us. However, about a month after we purchased it, an awful baby-powder like smell started filling our room. It took me a while to place it. I replaced our hypoallergenic bamboo mattress protector because I thought the Smell was coming from that. It was not. Every couple weeks our sheets and blankets would come down with the same smell and I’d have to wash them in vinegar to get the smell out. But the smell always came back. About 2 months ago it became obvious that the smell was coming directly from this mattress. Any time I removed the mattress protector and sheets to wash, the smell would permeate our room. The final straw for me was a week ago when I linked significant breathing problems to sleeping on the mattress. I was suspicious from the beginning that this smell was mold. I have diagnosed CIRS and mold illness and this year our family had to get rid of our house and all our belongings due to off the charts findings of toxic mold that were making all 4 of us very sick. We had to start over. This mattress was referred to us by a friend and we liked the price of it so we ordered after we found moved into our new-build apartment. The fact that this mattress seems to now be making us sick is very disturbing. When I looked up the branding, it appears these mattresses are made in Asia. I have no problem with that, except for the likelihood that the warehouses are not temperature/humidity controlled. I am requesting a full refund, please, as we are having to start over (again) with a brand new mattress (different brand) and purchase all new bedding (again.) Please help.
