    • WORKS GREAT BUT WEIRD LOOKING AND KINDA HEAVY
The bristles on this brush are strange looking but they work great. A center of wide flat bristles with holes them wrapped with an outer layer of more traditional looking slender bristles. The center bristles hold a lot of sauce, even a thin liquid stays on the brush as you move from the bowl to the grill. It's kind of a pain to clean the bristles, just putting it in the dishwasher isn't very effective. I usually soak it overnight and then clean with soap and running water the next day. ... show more

We use an open flame Breeo system - the length is great so that my husbands arm doesn’t get too close to the flame. And the brush does a nice job of holding the sauce. Dishwasher safe. We recommend.

I saw this brush in a store and wanted it for the longer reach when saucing meats on the grill (keeps fingers further away from heat!). I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Amazon had the same basting brush cheaper! Yay! I haven't used it yet but can tell it is quality made (it's an OXO!) and I am sure it will work perfectly for my needs. Much better than some of the short, flimsy ones I own! ... show more
