I’ve been using what I’ll call the restaurant-style mustard and ketchup squeeze bottles that always leak, and I decided I needed something with a handy built-in cap. This Oxo, Good Grips squeeze bottle (medium) has all the features I was looking for: a thick yet flexible plastic with plenty of heft. This design should ensure the squeeze bottle lasts for many years. It has a two-piece spout with an attached cap that requires only one hand to operate, and it has an ingenious yet simple design. It seals, and I tested it with water, and I am happy to report no leakage. I’m using the cap to keep oil for cooking in it, so what’s easier than picking up a gallon container and trying to pour out just a little without overdoing it? With this container, I pick it up. Pop the cap off with my thumb, squeeze the exact amount needed, and note the location of the pan I’m using. I have several Oxo products, and although I like to research the heck out of things, I always end up on the Oxo brand for dependability and great performance. Quality materials. Satisfying “snap” to the lid. Just over 11 oz makes it perfect for “about a cup” of any dressing or sauce. The hole is large enough that small bits of dried herbs will not clog and it can be cleaned with a small brush (or tightly twisted paper towel). I prefer the ease of use to the Oxo camping version which is both smaller and has a locking lid that is great for camping and overkill for the home kitchen. ... show more

The build quality is great - the plastic is hard and stable, but still easily squeezable. I have had no problem with the seal staying intact and water never leaks. It holds quite a bit of water and I can go multiple cooks without having to fill it back up. Perfect for sesame oil. A little goes a long way so you only need a squirt or two. No dribbles along the sides. The cleanest way to store and use oil. Oxo is worth the extra price. I’m still amazed at how clean my cabinet is.

This is a fantastic product. It has a two-part top which makes it easy to clean. The cover that goes over the spout to close it is hard plastic and opens on a hinge.
