I got these because we buy olive oil by the liter and my kids are starting to cook more it is tricky trying to pour a small amount from the large container. Pleasantly surprised! I was skeptical that these wouldn’t drip down using. Out of habit I wiped down the sides after 1st use and was so pleasantly surprised that there was no mess! I love OXO and these have no disappointed so far.

This dispenser is very fragile. I also bought the smaller one from them. If you have to pick between the smaller one and this one, get this bigger one instead. The smaller one is even more fragile. It was broken into pieces during shipping, I have to request them send me another one. It is somewhat leak proof. Better to use it for vinegar than oil. They come in a pair of 2. I use one for vinegar and the other for oil. I do see the outside surface gets greasy after one month. I tried to clean the outside surface, accidentally dropped some detergent into the oil. I end up pouring all oil out and wash it from inside out. The other one with vinegar never gets any lingering vinegar on outside surface. ... show more

Although I'm not sure about it being leak proof I do know that it doesn't drip. I did find a small mosquito 🦟 in one bottle because there's no lid for the open area to cover it, but if you want to put a small amount of tin foil over the area I'm sure it's fine.....I didn't do that to mine though .
