Beautiful oil cruet with a really elegant design. The stoneware feels solid and high quality, exactly what you’d expect from Le Creuset. I tested it a few times, and it pours oil smoothly without dripping. The size is just right and easy to manage, even for smaller hands. My only issue is that the website says the item height is 9.3 inches; however, with the spout, it is almost 11.5 inches. It would be nice to have those measurements itemized, especially for an online purchase. ... show more

It’s very large and pretty design on bottle. Best quality on the market for my experience. Seems expensive but actually after purchasing several other brands over the years it’s not that expensive! Decided to treat myself and get a "nice" Cruet. In my opinion its not worth the money and not up to the quality that the brand name should bring to the table, let alone the premium price. Good: the stoneware itself is nicely weighted and the coating on it looks pretty and is consistently applied Bad: As others have said the thing seems to "clog" easily. I can get one solid tablespoon out quick before it locks up and comes out very slowly. Its something to do with the spout - the air just isnt escaping like its supposed to and the pressure difference is causing issues. I also have a gripe about the fitment of the spout itself. Mine does stay in but it is just slightly undersized and will easily come out if oil gets between the seal and the bottle. Makes cleaning and refilling a pain because if there is ANY oil left on the spout opening or the spout itself when you try to place it back in it will just pop right out. I primarily use it for cooking and dont like the feeling knowing its going to come out one day and just ruin a dish when im trying to make something. I am going to relegate this to the dinner table instead for light use and it should be fine. Definitely dont recommend if you intend to pour out oil from another bottle and leave this by the stove to cook for the reasons mentioned above. ... show more

Beautiful and functional. (Although we replaced the spout with a much prettier gold one.) Only "complaint" is there is barely any of the darker red on the one we received. I dearly miss Rhone.
