  • Great for cleaning brickwork
I used this to clean a brick patio and worked really well! I diluted 8 scoops in 2 gallons of warm water, poured the solution over the brickwork, left for 10 minutes and scrubbed with a stiff brush and a scrubbing brush for stubborn areas.

  • Washes colors out of colored clothing if used as a "regular detergent"
I see this is labeled as a stain remover. It is probably good for stains. But I thought it was detergent and was wondering why every time I use this soap on colored clothing the clothes come out one shade lighter. Then I read the instructions, which say to let soap dissolve in water before adding clothes. So I started doing that. The clothes still come out one shade lighter. I am using the amount on the cup for 1 load or even less (I use the same amount for small med and large loads - it doesn't matter - the soap is fading my clothes). This soap may be good for whites and stained areas, but beware with colors. Your colored clothing may be at risk. ... show more

  • HIGHLY Recommend
I resisted buying this product for years because of the cheesy infomercials. Honestly, can it really be that good? Yes, yes, it can! had some really nasty deodorant stains built up on my shirts and dresses and after watching some tutorials online I decided to cave and give it a try. This product is a miracle and it far exceeded my expectations! My entire weekend was consumed by OxiClean and it's many wonders. I started by soaking 3 shirts, 2 dresses, and 5 sweaters in a tub with 1.5 scoops for 6 hours. Everything came out beautifully so I did another batch and then moved on to the grout in my kitchen. Once that was clean I wandered around my house like a crazy person trying to find other messes to tackle. My rugs are now spotless and my shower curtains and liners are beautiful. This was the best cleaning product I've ever bought. I just wish I had done it sooner. ... show more

  • OxiClean is, hands down, the safest, most effective whitening agent I've yet to find!
I feel fortunate to have found the "powers" of OxiClean products in late 1980's. It was advertised on a TV infomercial and I was lurded in by the promises of what it could do for carpets. I am hooked to this day by it's results. Believe it or not, I recall the morning I first tried it. I ran upstairs and woke my husband with excitement. We had tried most every carpet cleaner on the market with no luck. It was amazing, cleaning stains that were in the carpet when we bought the home a year before. It works equally well on clothes and in the laundry. Bleach WAS my go to on whites prior to, but reduced their life expectancy and would yellow over time. I was never happy with any stain removing product for my colors until I found OxiClean. I haven't had the need to try any other in almost 30 years now. Using OxiClean with HE Washing Machines (which I'm not fond of - okay, I hate them) can be a bit tricky as you need water to activate the Oxi and as we all know - those machines do not use water - lol! It has not changed by opinion of OxiClean, but that of STAR and the designers of those so called Washers. ... show more

  • Hey, I have blue carpet!
I bought this to put in my carpet steamer (With another clear). It smells great and it works like a charm. I wouldn't trade it for the world. It got the toughest stains out of my carpet. I attached photos showing before / after. This was after one sweep over the carpet. I plan to clean the carpet again in a day or two. Mind you - I live in an old house and the carpet is older than me. I am very impressed with the results. ... show more

  • Great Smelling Stain and Odor remover, also works for Kitchen Cleaning
I love using this stain remover in my wash. It's not a bleach so it can be useful in all loads but I especially like using this in loads that have a smell, such as wet towels that have sat in the hamper or in the boys bathroom. Also, the boys fishing clothes, gym workout gear, and socks come out so clean smelling without having to use a strong smelling flower fabric softener. I put the load and soap in as any normal load of laundry and then pour a cup of this powder on the clothes at the start. Works wonderfully! I also recently washed the light fixtures that hang over my stove with this. They have been there for years and had caked on grease from cooking, frying, etc. I took the covers down and put them in a sink of water and used a couple cups of this to let them soak. It worked! The grease loosened and I was able to get these clean. I have since used this with warm water on any hard to clean items to quick start the cleaning process. ... show more

  • Removes bright pink stains
This stuff is pure MAGIC. If you’re looking for something to get rid of the worst stains, look no further. I accidentally left my bright pink lipstick in my jeans when doing laundry. The result was a disaster. All my clothes were stained with bright pink spots. My husband was not too happy his favorite jeans were ruined haha. After doing some research, I decided to order this. I was still skeptical and didn’t think it would work. I used 4 cups of OxiClean and poured it into a bucket of warm water before putting my messed up clothes in. I kept it there for 36 hours and when I took the clothes out, everything looked brand new!!!!! There was still a few minor stains (because I put a bunch of clothes in the bucket at the same time), so I rubbed the spot where the stain was a few times and the stains completely dissapered. This stuff is amazing and worth every single penny. Insteaf of having to buy $100+ worth of clothes all over again, I spent $15 on this stuff and it got rid of the nastiest stains. ... show more

  • Love this stuff, so many uses!
I just love this stuff! It is good for cleaning so many things other than the obvious...laundry...although I do use it for that as well! I used the Oxi Clean last week mixed with water to scrub down my outdoor composite deck. I kind of mopped it on the deck and then pressure washed it. Over 10 years of moss, dirt and random gunk came off with no trouble at all. I like to use it in my carpet cleaner as well. I would suppose that it's not really recommended by your carpet cleaner manufacturer, they want you to buy their expensive liquid carpet cleaner, but I just make my own concoction using Oxi Clean and never have any trouble with my machine and my carpet come really clean. ***Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read my review. [...] I am honest when I write a review as I depend on other people reviews when I am making a purchase online, so I try to point out all features and benefits of a product, as well as any flaws or negatives.*** ... show more
