Overall, I really like these pants! I'd give them a 4.5 if I could. They definitely work to keep you dry!!! I ordered a few different sizes because Helly Hansen clothes tend to fit me a bit differently than I'm used to. Ultimately, the pants I ordered that were one size up from my normal size fit best, except that they ride uncomfortably low. The pants that were two sizes up had enough extra room that they could sit a bit higher, which made them more comfortable all around. They look big when they are on, but I bought them as foul weather gear to wear overtop other pants, so that's to be expected. ... show more

Decided to keep and make sure I had EXTRA long t shirts, etc. because Helly Hansen quality is so good. If you can handle the low ride - great fit and quality. The zippers and velcro on bottom of the legs are great for dirty boots.

Pants feel like good quality. Have not tested their waterproofing. I bought the largest size as they need to go over a base layer and regular pants, but still need to move. Love that the pants have pockets.
