The plastic covering is very tough that it is hard to open the first couple of pages. It is hard to explain but the first couple of pages are just barely useable due to the design. However, it is an ok product notebook overall. Just take out the first 5 pages.

The texture of the pages is great! They're smooth and writing on them feels good. Thye cover of the book is nice and strong. Definitely protects the pages. My one main issue with the book as a whole is that the rings holding the pages tear the pages as you're turning them. Or the pages are just really delicate and don't flip easily. Almost all of the 10+ pages I've used so far have torn/ripped around the rings. I personally don't care that much as they're still part of the book. But I know some people might be SUPER irked by that. Overall, pretty nice stone paper book! ... show more

I don’t normally write reviews. However, this paper is amazing. It’s soft and it makes you want to write because the ink from the pen glides so nicely over it. It’s waterproof, which is interesting in itself. The paper also stretches. It’s like a cross between paper and plastic. People are always so fascinated by it when I show them. Comfortable and elegant to use. But it takes longer time for any type of pens to dry, so it is pretty easy to mess up my hand. Yet it is indeed water-proof. Very cool product. I wish it is a lot cheaper.

I'm admittedly an office supply nerd, so I loved the color, the feel of the paper, and the layout. BUT... the binding makes it more difficult to turn the pages, and if you want to section it out and add something toward the back of the notebook, forget it.
