This is a lovely, well made dress. The back zipper is long enough so as to get it on easily. The waist band is slightly elevated (even on short-waisted me) allowing for a nice flow over the usual bumps of waist and belly. Length was perfect on my 5'5" frame, hitting just below the knee. I bought the L, as recommended,and it is a tad tight, but not unwearable on my average weight body. If I were sizing this, based on length and width, it would be better listed as a 12Petite. ... show more

We bought this for a Christmas wedding, our 13-year old was on the border between adult and youth sizes, and this fit very well in a small. She’s not swimming in it, but I expect it to look better and better as she fills out. It’s a lovely hunter green, but in pictures it’s blue, and even adjusting the warmth just makes it look emerald. ... show more

The fit of the upper half of the dress was good, but the length was definitely too long. I'm about 4'10" and it fell at a very awkward mid-calf length that wasn't flattering. I returned it.

I had high hopes for the dress, but was very disappointed when it came in. I thought it would be a nicer material, but it seems to be a mix of some sort of nylon and Jersey does not look like a dress you could wear to a cocktail party. From the pictures it shows you it has a belt it seems that it’s knotted, but it’s not. It just is sewn together and looks rather awkward. I was able to put on the dress without unzipping it. It was very stretchy material I thought it would be a thicker fabric. I showed my daughter and asked her if it looks like a grandma dress and she said it looks like a child’s dress. I looked in mirror and could see the childish look of this dress. Sending it back I know description says casual cocktail dress but this doesn’t even come close. ... show more

This dress that I thought was pretty in the picture, unfortunately did not look so pretty on. I tried both M and L. The L fit better on my broad shoulders, but both sizes looked kind of frumpy and from the side view just didn't have a flattering shape. Discovered it's just not a good style for me.
