I did think they were going to be a bit "heavier" but they still work, so I stand by the 5 rating. I did toss in the dryer with a damp, smaller towel which did the trick taking the wrinkles out before hanging. Good value, so no complaints! Our new apartment windows in NYC are high up, so neighbors can see into our living space, if we do not have curtains. So the day after moving in, we got these lightweight sheers and used tension rods within the window casing. The sheers are perfect. They diffuse the visibility enough at night for privacy but do not block light during the day. They fit the windows perfectly. We are very pleased with these, and the price is right! (We did have to get a ladder to install these ourselves, so they are affordable enough to leave behind if we need to whenever we move out of the apartment.) ... show more
