I will say the two “downsides” are they it doesn’t fit into a cup holder (that’s to be expected from a 32 ounce bottle) and that the button to open the lid will sometimes get stuck and I’ll have to mess with it a bit to have it pop open. Best water bottle ever owned. Keeps things cold for almost 2 days. I own water bottles from all the top brands and this water bottle is a stand out. I care most about keeping things cold, how easy is it to carry around, easy cleaning. This hits all of them. I like the fun colors and look but its functions are what is high priority. This water bottle is pretty close to perfect - just a little big for my hand. It keeps water cold even without ice. The design to sip is awesome. Much better than just a straw. Or, you can gulp. I own a bottle from nearly every "big brand," and this bottle is pretty good. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars instead of five, but I feel like I only feel that way because I have searched and tried so many brands. The two issues that I have are: it does not fit in a standard cup holder at this size and the straw comes loose from the lid and free floats in the bottle relatively often. The size below this does fit in the cup holder, but that size with ice does not last for my 10 to 12-hour days (and yes, I have the size down too). The spout has a sip option in addition to the straw, so I can still drink out of it (awkwardly) when the straw falls out. Since I am only drinking water, I don't mind if that sip is more of a pour and gets on my face and clothes, but if I were drinking say coffee...I'd be less than thrilled. I throw it in my work bag all the time and carry it to meetings. Ice lasts longer than I need it to (even in warmer environments), and it has yet to leak in a bag. I would recommend and would buy again, but I also still carry two bottles with me each day. The other always has a working straw, keeps ice longer than I need, and fits in the cup holder (my tea and coffee live in it), but it has its own issues. Still looking for that perfect bottle, but this one is pretty close. ... show more

I bought the 32 oz bottle and love it! Keeps my ice for 36 hours depending how often I add cold water to it. I love the interior straw/sip feature. I hope the straw stays tightly attached to the lid and doesn’t start sliding out while inside the bottle. I also love that it’s totally leakproof when fully closed with the lock down. I can throw it in my pool bag without fear of getting my dry clothes wet. I have small hands with arthritis in my fingers. The closure ring helps me lift it but I bought a rubber gripper handle to be able to slide my fingers under making it easier to pick up. I’ve ordered a 24 oz Owala to take with me to my aqua fitness classes since the 32 oz is a bit heavy when full of ice and water. I also love the fun colors! ... show more

As a self described water bottle snob, this is the best drinking vessel I've ever used. The drinking spout is covered, the locking mechanism can function as a handle, and the sip/chug drinking method is so innovative. Everything on the bottle is easy to clean. Only complaint is one of the springs for the lid has seemingly come unseated, which doesn't impact performance of opening *at all*, it just makes a clicking noise as it seems to move ever so slightly. Again, no impact to peeformance, just a slight clicking noise. If I ever needed to re-purchase, I'd also get the rubber thing for the bottom so it doesn't have that hollow "ring" sound when it is set down too hard, or bumps into a hard obstacle, like the phone in my pocket. ... show more
