I love these curtains. I purchased the lighter shade so that I could be bold in colors in the room. I bought the extra long so that I could hang them high as it makes the look more elegant. These curtains are washable and have a little bit of wrinkle, but if you have a good hand held steam iron they come right out. They are easy to open and close. And they have a sheerness about them, but not to the point that you can see through them. I actually like that because the daylight can still come through and make the room not so dark.
