I bought this for my wife as she is notoriously cheap and doesn’t like to go to the salon. She had another unit before this one that wasn’t so great. She loves this one and her nails look great. I think the value for me is her happiness. Excellent gift for her. The size is compact and doesn’t require a lot of space. The light is much brighter than her old unit and seems to work better. The unit came with other accessories that made her doing her nails a breeze. The other advantage is that the motion detection works better on this unit. Tip: invest in a quality top coat. After a poor salon gel mani inspired me to try an at home kit, I ordered this LED lamp that I found on reddit and a set of gel colors also from amazon. This lamp comes with a button for a lower setting which was clutch for the top coat I used which packed a ton of heat. The lamp is light weight but effective. Overall, I would say that this UV lamp is a good product that works as described. Prior to purchasing this 6 months ago I had never used UV gel polish at home. But I am really impressed with how easy it is to get salon quality results with a good quality gel polish and this LED lamp. The only issues I’ve encountered are the fact that the white plastic under tray/upper dome portion stain pretty easily with repeated use and the 72W lamp requires a longer drying time than some of the higher watt UV lamps with more lights. But these are small criticisms that are to be expected at this products low price point. Overall I would recommend this product. ... show more

It stopped working on my first client which was very very frustrating. I did my set and used it successfully.. The very next day I did a clients nails and the LED lights refused to turn on. I tried multiple outlets but only the timer started not the LED LIGHTS. I'm returning **Update, it is already returned but I figured out the issue and realized the error was mines. I somehow got a cord mixed up that was similar and when I tried to use the cord for that item it didn't work so I checked the cord and instantly realized the mix up. I’ve had the lamp for exactly 6 months now and about 1/3 of the lights inside flicker on or don’t come on at all, resulting in uneven curing. I have to cure everything twice to ensure its cured completely. Just a *decent* lamp, not a good one. The only good thing about it is the size. Durability and reliability isn’t good enough for the cost. Might as well get a $20 lamp instead of this one. Or better yet, get a good $60 lamp that you won’t have to replace in 6 months. And buy the warranty so you can get a replacement when they stop working! ... show more
