True California king bed and the sizing of this bedding is great, in my opinion. I wanted plenty of comforter, the last one would be half way on the floor when we woke up. We wanted a lighter bedding material for summer. Missouri temps are all over the place and this is perfect to us. We do not have an oversized washer, so the material being thinner vs fluffy was important. This also contributes to why it’s perfect for us for summer and keeping cooler in the night. The pillow cases are on true California king size pillows, they fit fluffy and thinner pillows (the pillow you see in the background of the one photo, that’s the fluffy type). I always get California king comforters for our king bed to avoid the blanket war! This has plenty of room on both sides. We live in the northern Midwest and I'm a cold sleeper, even in the hot summer. I use this comforter in the summer and I start off the nights a little chilly, but it ends up being perfect for the rest of the night. No summer night sweats. I bought 2 so far- the beige and white for our king size bed. I wanted the bedding to hang longer so I bought the California king size. The bedding is nice once it's been out of the packaging for a while. I gave this 4 stars because it comes shrink wrapped so the bedding is really wrinkled when you open it. I had to let the bedding sit out a few days to fluff up. I have not washed them yet so I can't tell you how they will look after washing. But so far so good! ... show more

    • Love the sheets but they don’t stay on the bed

Cooling sheets, wash great and feel great. But I’ve struggled a LOT getting them to stay on the bed. Every day we have to reset the corners. I bought some sheet corner holders (look like suspenders) and while my corner stays on good now, my husband seems to still struggle with his corner.
