As a new Citibike rider in NYC, I kept finding myself riding without a helmet and knowing it wasn't smart. So I decided to buy a collapsible did some research and decided to give this one a try, in large part because of how small it is when collapsed. After using it for two months I am thrilled and recommending it to friends. . It really becomes small when folded, fits easily into a backpack and when unfolded is incredibly solid. And it's as comfortable as any helmet I've ever had. I now carry it everywhere and feel so much safer riding in the city, which is amazing, knowing I'm protected. Get this helmet. I was looking for a folding helmet to wear when I use my electric scooter so it had to be small. First reaction when I opened the box is that it was really well made. The folding mechanism is well thought out and feels strong (ie: no flimsy or moving parts, everything is in place and well tightened). Folding/unfolding is instinctive and only takes a few seconds when used to it. I would have to wear it for long periods of time to judge the comfort but it is well ventilated and fits well on my head. The S/M model is more than enough for most people, unless you have a very wide head. Is it worth the hefty price? I'm not sure. I was able to get it in open box at $56 so at this price it is definitely worth it but I'm not sure I would have paid the $129. If you are ready to splurge that money, it is definitely a good choice as it feels as a premium product. ... show more

I had another of these helmets for year until unfortunately I lost it. So I was delighted they still make them, and indeed it’s better than ever. So light, and easy to store and carry.

My head was exactly between the two sizes so I went with the small and don’t regret it. Fit perfect. Glad I got this because it looks cool (for a helmet) and I probably would not wear one at all if I didn’t have this one.

I was wary of buying a foldable helmet because I didn't expect it to fold enough to fit in a bag but I was pleasantly surprised. It folds to about half the full size which is enough to make it worth it.

It's a wonderful helmet that folds unto a small footprint. Only issue was that it fir a bit tight at the temples and the pads inside the helmet recommend not to remove. Did not know how to proceed.
