Update: Two months later, I'm still loving it. It holds everything I need -- which often includes my 10" Fire and several charge cords, along with two pairs of glasses, a large wallet, and assorted odds and ends -- without being huge or ungainly. It's comfy to carry, and dirt wipes off easily. Even though I'm rough with things, it shows no sign of damage so far. If I liked the other colors available, I'd snap up another one for variety. Original review: I just received this yesterday. The leather is very soft -- it feels good, but it makes me worry about how easy it will be to damage. Only time will tell! In the meantime, the lining and zippers do look pretty sturdy, and I like the middle pocket, which fits my 10" Kindle Fire with its bluetooth keyboard. And I love that I can remove the straps so I don't have extra straps hanging around. Also, some folks have complained about the small external side pockets, but I like them as well -- I've stowed bandaids in one of them, and I may put a chapstick or something else small and easy to lose in the other. So far, so good. The bag is a convenient size, and the "teal blue" is an attractive green-blue-gray color. I just hope it holds up to use! ... show more

This purse is fantastic. To look at, the size is not big or bulky, but it can carry a lot. The purse has lots of pockets so organization and finding what is needed is easy. The quality is great. It is real , soft, leather, no leather oder at all. The color is also super nice. I chose red and it is not flashy at all. It is wine red. The two handles are great because one allows the purse to be a shoulder bag , which is the one I use all the time, and the other allows the purse to be a cross body bag, great for travel or when you need hands free. I also purchased another color for the upcoming season. The purse is a very quality product for a very fair and reasonable price. I highly recommend it. ... show more

    • Great roomy bag
This is a bigger bag that I usually buy. Leather feels great, roomy, lots of compartments. My only negative is the inside is black fabric and it's difficult to find items. Otherwise, a great bag for the money, holds alot.

Love this purse! It's a great size, on the bigger side but not too big. The outside pockets are perfect for my phone and my keys go in one of the side pockets. The leather is soft and smooth. Very pleased with this red bag which is a great shape and perfect size for my wallet, phone, and a lot of extras. The leather is soft but still seems like it will hold up well for the long haul. There are a couple of interior pockets and dividers that help with organizing, and a small zippered exterior pocket for my keys.     • About the RED
Colors in photos often look very different. Put those pictures online and they're even further removed from the actual item. Also, shades of red are notoriously tricky to convey. I wanted a true, vibrant red bag. The red in the photo looked like it may be a little too dark but I've been searching for a red hobo for so long I took a chance because it looked like a nice bag and I thought it would be close enough. Well, the red is only technically "red." It's more of a strange brick red (not as deep or rich as burgundy), with dull gray/brown undertones... a real off-color. So, not anything like what I was after. It also doesn't have anything like the supple, soft/shiny appearance in the photo. I suppose there's a leather treatment that would bring that out but I'm returning mine (possibly for a different color) because I can't imagine this strange shade making this bag one I would reach for. But if you're choosing a different color.... This bag is the perfect size, at a time when finding the perfect in-between size is a struggle. It's not heavy, which is good because you won't be dragging around a ton but bad because it won't hold up as an every day bag. I was thinking I wasn't crazy about the design (those nonsensical vertical side zippers aren't the best decoration) but a different color might make all the difference. The strap is superfluous because the handle is plenty long enough to wear as a shoulder bag and a decent length to dangle from your forearm. I have bags where I attach the long strsp and I toggle betwern the two. You can't do that with this bag. It's too awkward. But you really only need the one handle-strap since it does double-duty. The weird red did not work for me but a different color might make all the difference. I might switch for the gray but I'm still looking for a sturdy, stylish true bright red hobo. ... show more

This purse is great! It is soft leather but sturdy enough for everyday wear. And the size is just perfect for me as I need space for wallet, glasses, etc. but don't like huge hobo bags. And the external 'pouches" on both ends are great for my cell, sunglasses or whatever. The color is not quite as bright as the photo on the website but is pretty.
