I used these tiles on my outdoor terrace which gets a lot of water when it rains. My son installed them in about 2 hours. They snap right into each other and easily cut with a utility scissor. We've had two heavy rain storms and the water just flows thru the tiny holes and dries quickly. I purchased the gray. They look like real expensive wood with black overtones. I first set up the flooring in my garage to see if it would work. I used a clear coat on all the individual squares. It did get somewhat darker but still a very pretty grey color. The ground was leveled and black weed protector laid out. Paver sand was used and then snapped all the squares together. It wasn’t as easy as in the garage but it was not hard. We added some sand on top for the beachy theme. A scalloped edging was added to protect from weed eaters or mowers. Added a nice touch. Plus it helps keep the flooring from shifting since it is out in my yard. The tiles are a nice weight, beautiful color, and easy to set up. ... show more

Some crumbs from a greasy cookie fell onto the tile. When we tried to wash them up with soap and water, the grease did not come out and color from the tile came up onto the rag leaving the grain faint. We have learned that the tile has no protection on it and it very vulnerable. We are hoping the manufacturer will give us some ideas for a protective coating. ... show more
