The assembly was a little tricky and you should reference the Amazon product listing pictures for guidance. The installation is truly tool-free, though, and once I figured out how, the brackets went up on the blind mount without an issue. All the screws can be turned by hand and are easy to grab. However, it also means that the big front screws holding the curtain rod stand out too much visually. The front screws have scallop edges with a casual vibe; it was okay for my purpose, but is something to keep in mind depending on the kind of look you're going for. In addition, you should be careful with how much you tighten the brackets to the blind mount because they can get in the way of operating the vertical blinds: the brackets are somewhat loose on the mount as a result and I need to be careful when opening and closing the curtains. Also, the weight capacity (rod plus panels) will likely depend on how securely mounted your blinds are to the wall. My vertical blinds are mounted right below the ceiling, so this product really came to the rescue. I'm glad it does the job economically. If you're in the same predicament, this is worth giving a try.

I bought these to use on my sliding glass door, to move the curtains out enough so they wouldn't drag along the blind. They are working great. Gave me the extra clearance I needed to move the curtain away from the blind without having to drill a bunch of unwanted holes in the wall. The bracket tightened up as it would if it was screwed in, the cats climb the curtains from time to time and they are sturdy enough that they don't fall down. Definetly something that I would buy again for any of my other windows.

Needed these to add curtains over our existing blinds without putting holes in the wall. The instalation is pretty simple if the blinds you own have the right kind of headrail. Clamp securely, doesn't wobble. Actually do measure the headrail before you order though. They only fit the rectangular rails between 1.3 and 2 inches. All I will really say is, don't hang anything too heavy on them.

So, my use of these is unconventional. I was looking for something similar, but smaller than the set up I use to hold my 100 yard roll of interfacing. These worked very well. The part that would normally be secured to the wall, is fitted over the edge of my cutting table. I found a PVC pipe that fits the opening where the curtain rod would normally go. I then was able to hang my rulers on S hooks.

I was happy to stumble upon these curtain rod brackets. They are well made, and work GREAT. I just wish they came with a simple, single page, small illustration to demonstrate the proper way to install/use. Once you figure that out though, and put them together/install them…they are sturdy, stable, and very adjustable!

These have great value for the price! ($16) They are high quality, heavy duty hardware that serves its purpose with integrity that cannot be argued with, no matter what my lease says! ☺️ The only drawback to their heavy-duty-ness is how thick they are. The metal is about 1/8 inch thick, so they're not easy to slide over something that's already been mounted, especially in my case... But I'm making it happen. 2 windows down, 1 to go. 😅 I recently installed similar brackets from another brand in my living room and I gotta say - I like these a lot more. They just look better than the other ones. They're slightly smaller, not as unnecessarily bulky, but just as strong. They are widely functional and incredibly easy to install. They can be tightened by hand once you slide them over the square header and fit a very accommodating range. Once installed, these are SOLID. In fact, I'm sure that whatever you mount them to will decide their limits long before these brackets actually give out! I highly recommend these for renters! I'm so grateful for these brackets which I didn't even know existed a few months ago. They're helping me hide the hideous blinds in my front room that have been annoyingly protected by my lease for the last ten years. I really can't express how happy I am to have "outsmarted" my landlord. Hehe. Just...Victory is mine!!! 😂 (...And yours too, with these brackets. 😅) *For the record, they arrived tightly packed in a space saving, environmentally friendly, box with the adjustment bolts in the wrong spots in order to make them fit - only mentioning as a reminder to switch them before installing. ☺️

This outside-mounted blind set rod works really well for what I needed. It’s sturdy, holds the blinds securely, and doesn’t bend or flex under the weight. Installation was pretty straightforward, and once mounted, it gives a clean, finished look. The material feels durable, and the rod stays in place without shifting. The only small downside is that the hardware could be a touch heavier-duty, but overall, this rod does its job reliably and makes the blinds operate smoothly. A solid choice.
