I have bad Vertigo and it causes me to fall down on occasion, the last episode I almost hit my head on the corner of my desk, that's when I decided to get this helmet, yeah it looks dumb wearing a helmet around the house, but better safe than sorry, it's cheap insurance to save what little there is left in there, I've had friends who have died from hitting their heads on the corner of furniture when falling, it doesn't protect your face, but the rest of the head is covered.... anyone give you crap about it, just tell them your going on tour with Tony Hawk.... ;) ... show more

It's comfy, light and cool looking. It has unintentionally been put to use and I can confirm it protecting your noggin! I like how it has the chin strap pad and extra pads for the inside. The adjustable knob on the back makes for a nice and secure fit. I definitely recommend and would buy again
