We have wanted wooden Adirondack chairs for a long time. We ordered 2 of these and are very happy with them. Love the Blue!! It took us about 40 minutes to assemble both chairs, the directions being very clear. We enjoy our morning coffee by the newly created pond. We are so pleased. Btw, our Spring weather in MT is pretty erratic. High temps to low temps within a day, intense sun to pouring rain or snow. The wood is doing great with only one slight crack in the arm of one chair. But we're used to wood expanding and contracting here. For those who take this in stride it's no big deal. We love these very comfortable chairs! ... show more

We bought four of these oversized Adirondack chairs for our firepit and our place at the beach. Quality and value for the money is terrific. They are sturdy and look great! Instructions and assembly of the chairs were easy to follow. Great chairs!!

Update to previous review. With the help of family we assembled the rest of the chairs in record time. One of the chairs had a small crack in the armrest. As it sat in the sun while assembling other chairs the crack grew to about a 12 inch split in the wood. I immediately contacted the seller and forwarded a picture of the flaw while informing them I did not want to disassemble and return the chair. The seller quickly responded and sent me a replacement armrest. I received the new armrest several days later and have installed it. It’s a perfect match and I’m very impressed by the sellers response. 5 Stars! Thank you. I ordered 6 of the large chairs and I would’ve given these chairs 5 stars if I hadn’t seen some really nice vinyl ones at Costco for only $25 more. But they do not fold and that was a big seller for me. They were also an ugly gray color. There is a lot of criticism in the reviews about the finish and assembly difficulties. The finish is fair and they aren’t the smoothest but you won’t get splinters. The color is beautiful but I may spray them with a weather seal for added protection. Because they’re foldable I can easily put them under cover. As for the assembly it was like anything else you buy these days and very little except the seat was pre-assembled. Any moron can figure out the easy picture instructions. I put one together in less than an hour while wearing a sling on my right arm while recovering from extensive shoulder surgery. I hope to get some help with the other 5. I had to do no drilling, as others have noted, and only used a cordless drill with a Phillips head bit and the provided socket wrench. I did add some wood glue to the backrest frame joints to increase strength and hopefully longevity. Good hardware is provided as well. I wish they were a little bigger but they are comfortable for me at 6’-1” 275lbs. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a decent folding Adirondack chair. ... show more

While the product was easy to assemble. It did not hold up for more than two weeks. The wood is splitting at predrilled hole locations. The chairs have been used less than five hours total. There has been limited weather issues and the chairs are mostly in the shade.

We ordered eight (8) of these to put around an outdoor fire pit. They are well-built, sturdy, and comfortable to sit in. The first one took about 20 minutes to assemble, but after that we had it down to about 8 minutes with two of us working together. One person could easily assemble one also. We had a question about one of the chairs (which is why you only see 7 in the photo), and contacted the manufacturer using the email address included in the package. They responded promptly and helped us, so good marks for the support people. Overall, 5 stars for a great product at a great price! ... show more

These chairs were really nice at first but the quality is so poor. Within a few months of being outdoors and used, they became rickety and uncomfortable due to the hardware loosening up. We are now having to replace the chairs, so I do not recommend them.
