I am 6" 220 and order the 36 x 32 (I typically wear a 35x34 in Wrangler George Straits, 34 x 34 in Levi's) and they initially fit tight around the front pocket area but after wearing them they did loosen up. I used these pants on a North Dakota Mule Deer hunt in the Badlands. I wanted to buy a [air of Kuiu guide pants but thought I would give these a try. First day was wet as it had rained and the pants are rain resistant. The next day the wind blew 30-40mph with temps in the high twenties and my legs never got cold and I never felt the wind. Day three was miserable. 25 mph winds, blowing snow and only in the teens. Never wore a base layer and my legs were never cold. Final day started in the teens no wind and in the morning we sat on some does waiting for a buck that never came sitting on a frozen clay knob and that was the only time I put on my rain shell as I was not moving. Overall the pants were great. Even nicked them on a barbed wire fence with no damage. They do protect from the wind and when I sat on snow I was cold but no moisture came through. The only thing is I wish they had side dump vents and the zippers zipped down and not up on the front pants. Good looking pant as well. ... show more

These pants are of exceptional quality and a great buy for the price. I'm really impressed. I'm just over 6' and weight 175 with a 36" waist and 32" inseam. I bought the L-size and they fit perfectly. I would rate them as a mid-weight pant and I think will be comfortable in the 15-25 degree range and on the low end of those temps with a bit of wind, it will probably be necessary to wear a light underwear as a base. The fleece in these pants is fairly lightweight. Although I've not worn them in all day rain, they do repel moisture great and perhaps would be fine in heavier rains as well. But in winter, it's mostly the lighter variety and snow that's the concern and they will be great for that. They have deep pockets that appear to be well constructed for wear much like the balance of the pants. And an unexpected plus is they actually have a nice casual look so can be worn in a casual setting. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend. ... show more

These are great! I ordered a pair for my tall thin son who has a 28 inch waist and 34 inseam. But the adjustable waist makes the fit good! They’re very warm for winter activities. Only wish they made the same for my older son who has a 30 waist with 36 inseam. The really tall guys who are thin get nothing! They have to live with layers of sweat pants. If this company is listening, you have another market of men you’re missing! Hence the 4 stars. ... show more

For now this review is only about initial opening and test fit. I will update when I can use these in the cold weather. I wear a 36-38 waist and 32-34 inseam, depending on the cut, I purchased 36W/34L size and are a perfect fit without a base layer on, might be a bit tight with thermals in addition. We found a similar pair for triple the price at a big brand store that my husband loved, but because of the price tag I decided to try to find something comparable on here and boy did we. The quality is excellent and the price alone makes it a must buy. They are super comparable to the pair he owns that we paid triple for and are actually easier to upkeep (no issues with wrinkling or needing to iron). We’ve had no issues with washing and drying them as normal and they continue to look and feel great. We did go up one size in length to accommodate any shrinking and having higher work boots underneath and will say that was a good call. They’re very much true to size though. I like the pants and own two pairs but they changed the sizing and the waist on the second pair is way way too big. Unfortunately I modified them and can’t return them so I’m stuck with parachute pants now.
