The rope is durable, we did have one knot come undone. It's hard to determine what is the end due to there being some bunching and there is a little sagging in the middle. I would recommend using a frame if you want it more tight. Overall great purchase for our needs.

This didn't end up working for what we were trying to use it for, but it was really high quality, thick ropes. We got the 6 foot one and it had a bit of stretch, so it would probably end up being a bit bigger. If you installed it correctly, I would bet it would hold quite a bit of weight, it feels really heavy duty and strong. We wanted it for climbing across, not up, and the holes were a bit too big for our smaller children, but if your project is climbing up, this would be a great purchase!
