Two problems - a groundhog that dug under my chain link fence, followed by a foster pup who thought she could follow him/her. A set of these made both of them unhappy but me rather happy! They were very easy to install and I like that I could kind of weave them thru a few of the links on the bottom to make it even more taught. The loops on one end help to interlock each section to the next for more stability and rigidity. Depending on how hard your ground is, you can use your feet to push these in, or I think it's easiest to tap them in with a hammer or rubber mallet to the height desired. Installed about a month ago and it is keeping both at bay. Very good purchase, worth the price.

I have a fenced pen for my LGD at my barn. He stays at the barn full time to guard goats and chickens. I also have a 90 lb. Shelter special that runs loose on our 11 acres. She likes to visit the LGD and will often dig under his fence to get in and play. The problem is that when she does this, the chickens get in with the LGD and then like the big dumb animal he is, he forgets his job and wallers or chases them until they expire. 😬 I ordered these thinking why not give it a try. OMG I’m impressed. They are a little flimsy, but I pushed them into the ground and then zip tied the top to the bottom of the fence. Nice and secure. Since installing these in her favorite digging spots, she tried to dig a few times and hit the underground spikes. She has not tried to dig in any other areas and this has solved the problem! This has also reduced my anxiety that my LGD would eventually start following her under the fence. He has to stay fenced because as LGDs do, he roams and I was afraid he would roam too far and get into trouble with the neighbors.

These are so easy to install, I got my teenage daughter to do it! (Of course, she didn't actually finish the job, but the part she did worked great!) We have used these to build a small "puppy pen" for temp foster puppies in the yard too. It's tall enough to keep the 8 week old puppies in, and they're super easy to install and remove as needed.

Avoid even the smallest pebble when installing these, otherwise it's liable to bend. In unobstructed soil works well enough to act as a deterrent/keep critters away. Decent coverage.

Needed something to close the hole dug by the many forms of animals and wildlife roaming the neighborhood and using my yard as a bathroom at night. Right at the back corner (90-degree angle) of the fence the creatures have dug under the fence to access my and many other yards to create a highway to come and go. After installing 4 barriers in a V pattern as indicated in the instructions to close off the hole, back-filling with rock and dirt, and monitoring any activity, no wildlife have been detected in that area. Now if there is any activity, the wildlife are probably scaling the tall wood fence which is harder for them. This simple but effective barrier system seems to be working for me.
