My dog is blind but he still enjoys strolling around the yard or chasing after the occasional cat that comes through the yard. To protect him from some of the cactus plants and other possible yard hazards - the ones from the dollar store are not tall enough or sturdy enough to stop him, and sometimes he chews on them. These have stopped him in his tracks a few times. They protect his eyes and nose from coming in contact with anything that might poke out at him. I went with the ivy covered set - and it really camouflages the fence and anything behind it. I used a rubber mallet to put them up - will get more in future.

Very easy to install. The little poles come in a separate baggie and they also provide a baggie of small zip ties. The poles are great because the bottom of them are angled to a point so they're easier to push into the ground. I bought 2 sets and heightened mine instead of extending the length for privacy. Thinking about adding one more "level" for more privacy. They were easy to attach as another level since they come with so many zip ties, plus I had enough to attach the fences to my lamp posts for more stability.

Ivy looked really really fake. Like Dollar Tree, Dollar General. Might ...might look okay from a distance. Not for patio area where you would see it fairly closr where I had planned on using them. I wish I would have taken a photo before reboxing it. Returned very next day. Would not recommend.
