I have used Oury for years on my racing ATVs and Street bikes. When I saw this for the bicycle I had to try it. They are just as good. They are big and grippy and fairly soft. The size is noticeably bigger than factory ones. They are not lock on style so there is no plastic barrel to take the place of some of the grip material. I think this helps with giving more cushion. I put these on with a little rubbing alcohol as the lubricant. A day later it drys and they felt firm. After a 13 mile ride, I did notice they had rotated a little. If it gets worse, I will add some glue or wire them. On the ATVs I used glue and wire to hold the in place due to water getting in them. Never had another worry with them. Nice grips but not good for riding gloveless as they are very slippery from rain or sweat. If you wear gloves all the time the grips are awesome!

These are the closest I could find to my old Specialized grips. The rubber is high quality and sticky. I installed using the air compressor trick.

Grips installed really easily when using alcohol on the bars as suggested. They were ready for riding about an hour later. I have these on a cruiser. I would probably opt for the lock ons if I were doing more serious biking, but for chill easy rides these are great. Color looks good too. Don’t waste your time on the similarly priced U-joy slips on grips. They have no cushion and the color faded after a month. ... show more
