This camera is light and easy for kid to use. I gave this kid camera to my nephew as he likes to take photo of everyone in the family. Once on, there is a menu to select what to do with the camera. The colors on the screen are bright and nice, definitely capture the attention of toddler. The buttons on the camera are easy for those little fingers to press too. The camera allow us to view those photo that has been taken by pressing the arrow buttons. It comes with a strap to hang the camera around neck to avoid accidentally dropping it. Bought this for my Grandsons 5th birthday. He loves it. We only had to show him a few times on how to use it and he was snapping away! I picked this camera because there were no games etc. But it does have a lot of extras. The only Con is that it does not come with a case and it was very hard to find a case that it fit into. Of course I wanted a kiddie type case but something that would hold up. I actually ordered 5 yes five different cases until I found one that fit. Even going by the dimensions it was not easy to find. I bought the Leayjeen Kids Instant Camera Case that looks like a Dragon which was a plus for my Grandson.

I was too excited to get this for my niece. Now hear me out. She’s 3, but when I tell you she’s advanced, that’s an understatement. I was able to set up her camera (which was an easy process). I thought I was teaching her, but she was teaching me, LOL. I love the different features such as a the durability. It’s easy to handle and the pictures are very nice for her standards.

The first product I was sent did not work. It would turn on when connected to power, but would not hold a charge when disconnected from the charging cable. I contacted the seller who immediately shipped me out a replacement camera (plus one for excellent customer service). The new camera worked fine. The modes are easy to understand and my 7-year old daughter had no problems figuring out how to take still pictures and video. The eye piece is really just an open air hole, so the primary framing mechanism is the screen preview. It comes with a small memory card to hold images and video (8Gb in size). We did not use the other modes but they seemed slightly more confusing. The instructions were not very good. After receiving the new camera, I decided to try and take the original one apart before throwing it away. If you carefully pry off the small yellow panels on the left and right sides using a very small flat head screwdriver, you can access the recessed screws on each side. You can then remove each of the screws using a small Phillips screwdriver. I was able to diagnose the problem - the negative wire had become disconnected from the battery, perhaps something that happened during shipping. A little dab of solder allowed me to fix the issue and now we have two working cameras. I am deducting a star for the design/build quality. The wire was delicate enough to come loose during shipping or was not caught during manufacturing, so this does raise worries about long term durability. However, for the time being, the product is working fine and my daughter is having a good time with it. Pros: -Easy to use for small fingers -Fun colors (pink and yellow) -Comes with memory card -Records video and captures still images -Easy to access internals, with common screw heads, if necessary Cons: -Build/design quality -Plastic is thin -Image quality/optics are only "so-so" Overall: -A great first camera for a young child who is not yet ready for their first mobile phone or higher quality camera device. Good, inexpensive solution for practice and learning how to frame shots and take photos.

I ordered this product for an 9-year-old girl. When I saw the package I was immediately surprised by how small and lightweight it was. It seems to be sturdy and it works great, so I really have no complaints. Just be warned that this is a small cameral that is probably best for very small children (6-7 years old or younger)

This camera is cute and my 6 year old daughter was very excited about it. She loves taking pictures of family members and her cat. But the quality of the photos is pretty shockingly terrible, we are in the year 2023 and these photos look like they’re straight out of the late 90s. Maybe we got a defective lanyard clip but it won’t stay attached to the clip on the camera. It comes out with very little effort, even the minimal weight of the camera will pull the lanyard out of the clip. This is a pretty big problem since you have to hold the entire camera itself if you want to take it anywhere. This camera is super light weight, it feels very cheap. It definitely doesn’t have the heft you like to feel in a nice camera or piece of electronic equipment. Like I said before, this camera is cute. It fits my 6 year olds hands well and the software was simple enough for her to figure out quickly. She doesn’t seem bothered by the low quality of the pictures and still loves taking pictures of her cat, stuffed animals and random other things around the house. And we love looking at her pictures, seeing her creativity and what she finds interesting enough to photograph (and now my camera roll isn’t filled with dozens of pictures of the floor). There’s something that feels different for her when she’s using this standalone camera versus using the camera on our phones, even in spite of the quality difference. Overall this camera does what it says, it has some cute filters and video capability. The price is fairly average for this type of kids camera. I just wish the strap it came with worked and the quality was a bit higher.
