Good for thin straight panels.Not so good for body lines that are stoved in deep,or thick steel needing plates welded. Does good for light dents or dings,but I have noticed you do have to crank up the voltage.It does have it's place,but is not necessarily the right tool for every senario.That being said,it is cheap and does save time pulling what it can handle.A decent stud gun would be a better all around investment. ... show more

Worked as described, wish I have a 220v version. Welds can be weak. I’m working on a 63’ Ford. Thicker metal than today. May be better for todays thin metal!

I have trouble getting this machine to make a strong enough weld to actually pull a dent. It will pill easy dents, but not tough ones. It's not as good as a stud gun. I wish it was. But I suppose you have to spend more money to get something that works. I've used this this 10 or 12 times since I bought it a year ago. And then I bought a stud gimun and this thing just watches how it's done. ... show more
